We arrived at the hotel was given our room and when we walked in it had not been cleaned we complained to reception, they had no cleaners to do it so we had to wait 45mins for other staff to do it.
The reception manager apologised and gave us a free drink but this is not what we expected from a well known company completely ruined our relaxing day.

Lovely place. Lovely grounds. Very clean pool. Sauna and steam room. Very friendly staff. Rooms were very clean and the bed very comfortable. We had a very comfortable and stress free night.

Beautiful grounds! The entrance to the hotel is amazing. It’s in a fantastic setting, lovely to walk around the grounds aha explore. The room is slightly dated in comparison to other hotels, however the bed is comfy and you have a tv and hot drink facilities. Pool, jacuzzi and steam room were a nice touch.

Visited for one night room was ok not like ones in the photos very old fashion while photos showed more modern rooms

The hotel looks great and the gardens are enjoyable. However the room and bathroom were not very clean so that put us off. Also the food and drinks are quite expensive.

i stayed here a few times, and I am never disappointed. staff are lovely, food is great and the grounds are stunning. highly recommend.

I had to visit Southampton for a couple of days and thought it would be nice to have a good breakfast and a swim which is why I chose Chilworth Manor. I was not disappointed on either count. The reception staff were pleasant & efficient, the room was clean & comfortable and the TV & shower were fine. The pool was a comfortable temperature and a good size sufficient for me to swim worthwhile lengths. Staff were great here too. The grounds were wonderful and well worth taking the time to walk around. Breakfast was superb with a very well prepared selection of cereals, fruit, pastries and for me a cooked breakfast including sausages, bacon, hash browns, tomatoes, mushrooms and runny not hard over cooked fried eggs! All in all a very pleasant hotel experience that I would gladly recommend and return too.

Hotel is clean the staff is very nice and polite at all time willing to help. The room was very clean bed was ok , yes you can hear people walking by and in the others rooms like doors opening. We were here for a dinner do now the downside 3 course meal starter so small, second course at our table we were wonder where the vegetables again small. The dessert was larger. The drinks were very expensive that included coffee. Breakfast was ok the downside mushrooms did not taste very nice.
