Tulip Residence & Spa Hotel

I had a very nice experience in this Hotel.Was scared by previous review.But in reality it was better than I expected. Highly recommend. Great Customer service and very professional staff. Tasty food and comfortable bed.i slept there well.Clean and fresh.

The design of the rooms is very nice and they are very spacious. Unfortunately this is the end of my account of the hotel advantages. Hotel itself is situated rather far from the city centre and there is nothing especially noteworthy around. So, one needs to think twice what is the purpose of their stay in Chisinau to choose this hotel. Its rooms are unusually spacy which is here actually a drawback rather than an advantage. All of them, as well as corridors, have hard flooring and are modestly equipped by furniture. This creates the "loudspeaker effect" so you can hear every step made and every word said in all the rooms around your one and in the corridor. When I checked in along with a couple of other there were three girls behind the front desk but only one did the registration out the other two just looked over her shoulder to the comp. First I fought there was some kind of problem, but when I saw the same picture several times afterwards I realised that there is something wrong with the organisation. Only one of them spoke English and so there was a problem to solve anything. No matter what I needed I had to wait until they found the English-speaker. But the main problem was with breakfast, which is not provided by the hotel but by the enclosed restaurant. So you need to pay extra 10€ for it. It wouldnot be a problem if it was a buffet breakfast. Unfortunately it is served and you can choose only from pre-arranged choices. So, if you are in a died, no chance to have appropriate breakfast. What's more, only one beverage goes with the offer. In case you want juice and coffee, you need to pay extra for one or the other. And that is really strange after paying 10€ for breakfast in one of the pooriest countries in Europe. If I wanted scrambled eggs, cheese and joghurt the hotel manager needed to get in touch with the restaurant manager and arrange for it. But still, considering the price, the breakfast was experience in the hotel is ludicrous. Anyway, when asked by a friend, I would definitely recommend another hotel. There is really wide choice of less expensive hotels, closer to the center and with much better services (though probably not that fancy).

Not in the city centre but it is accessible. Quiet area with a supermarket a few steps away from the front door. Ate twice in the hotel restaurant and the food was excellent. The staff were friendly and efficient, happy to order taxis for transportation to overcome the language barrier. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Strong wifi in the communal area. Only downside is we left for an overnight trip and left an item of clothing in the wardrobe - our oversight - which was gone when we returned. Removed by either the cleaning staff or the next guest. So if you see someone wearing a Crusaders rugby jersey around Chișinău you know where it came from!

Exceptional service, the staff made me feel very welcome. They were all wonderful and very authentic. Heart warming experience. Exceptional value for money. The room was amazing, the restaurant too. The details are surprisingly well appointed, house perfume and decorations well chosen, attention to detail. Staff very helpful and interested. Feels like home. Would highly recommend.

Nice hotel in quiet area of Chisinau - however very close to the center. Rooms enough big and clean. Hotel and restaurant staff very friendly and helpful. Also all people very honest - I left my credit card in the restaurant - I called them and they found it. I will come to this hotel every time when I will be in Moldova. If you looking for some nice hotel and you are checking opinion about Tulip hotel you can be sure it would be a right choice. It was also the cheapest 4* hotel in Chisinau - the cheapest doesn’t mean it is worse than others. Come and check by yourself.

Great place, cannot recommend enough! The owner goes the extra mile for every guest, staff is very nice. Will definitely come back. Rooms are very clean, comfy, modern and with a good value for the price.
