The Move River View Hotel (Chongqing Jiefangbei Hongyadong)

We stayed for one night and decided to leave and stay at another hotel. Negatives: 1. Security - door could not be locked from the inside. 2. Room was not clean - our room had a tent and carpet for children, both of which were poorly maintained, with stains. There was also a stench coming off from the tent and carpet. - room was generally dusty, and fixtures were old and not well kept - toilet areas were also not well maintained with fingerprints and smudges noted. See stains near the sink in photos 3. Hotel does not provide breakfast 4. Fridge, when set to coldest setting still did not feel cold... 5. Entrance via a shopping mall, shared with many other boutique hotels housed at the lower levels. Positive - Great location within walking distance to food and attractions. Polite staff - upon receiving our feedback, she noted our case and offered a refund for our remaining 2 days as we had chosen to end our stay early. Also offered us a small gift as an apology. All in all, the stay fell short of our expectations for a 4* hotel.

This hotel is perfect! It has everthing you need. Comfy bed, spotless clean, ideal location, plenty of food nearby. It's new and the lobby decoration is beautiful (I forgot to take photos there.) The staff are very friendly and the check-in was smooth, I'm impressed! I wish I could stay longer. Hope to come back again and will definitely recommend this place! 👍👍👍

The room was clean and modern, location was really good next to all tourists attractions, worth the money

It has a wonderful experience of staying in this apartment. The ladies at the reception are very helpful on explaining features and services offered. It is close to many famous landmarks and iconic spot of the city, and is highly recommended for travellers who would like to have the most convenience accesses in the city.

Only 5 mins away from JieFangBei and 81 haochijie (night market). Only bad thing is that the building is under construction and construction starts at 9am on weekdays. Quite a pain in the ass if you wants to sleep in. Bedsheets are not changed everyday cause I see the same red mark on the sheets from day 1-3. Shampoo/conditioner are replenish everyday. Would be nice if there is do not disturb light is lighted when the hotel card is inserted. Hotel staff knocked and tap to enter our door at 10ish (and we are in deep sleep) and asked to do room service……. Hotel also provide clothes washing and drying service but 5 pieces per room. The hotel staffs are polite and friendly, and they make good recommendations for tourists. The checkin was smooth and easy. The hotel room was good in condition. However, there was a step within the room which somehow make it inconvenient. The hotel location was conveniently located at the centre of the shopping belts and attraction.

The location inside of Peninsula Int'l Business Building, 20th floor. Behind of Westin, hyatt and opposite of Republic of Korea Guangfujun Site (韩国光复军总司令部旧址). Walking a minutes to Ropeway, Temple, Hongya dong Folk Scene Area, port (sunset cruise) and else. My room in 20th floor is clean big 舒适 All staff very friendly and helpfull. 1st day when I came (late night) I can't sleep, so I request to change the room at floor nearby the reception. The next day the staff upgrade my room in the 20th floor, near the reception..yeay..thanks a lot, I can sleep then. Btw, the hotel doesn't have restaurant & breakfast, but don't worry because many restaurants and food street very close to the building. Oh, when I almost lost way to shiweixian, I call the staf, she help me and told to the driver the right way (address) to go (nan'an district). Overall perfect, Enjoy my holiday in Chongqing. I will stay here when I in Chongqing. Because very near and close to tourist attraction and culinary.

We switched over from a different room since we extended our stay. It was easy checking out of the other room and into this one. Although it was early, the room was ready so we were able to go straight to the room and didn't have to leave our luggage. Front desk girls were nice and polite. The room was spacious and clean. It is on the 27th floor and furnishing was nice and modern. Beds were comfortable. Good soundproofing too.

Workers are so fine, and helpfully Hotel are clean and in the best location
