This is a resort hotel with a very comfortable living environment, worthy of the name Secret Land.
The hotel management is in an orderly manner. We call in advance to understand the guests' preferences. When checking in, the front desk has basically mastered the guests' main information.
The guest rooms along the river are designed to have one room and one view, each with its own characteristics.
The guest rooms are spacious and have a good living experience. Especially sitting on the big balcony, drinking water, listening to music, and becoming one with the mountains and rivers...
The dining options are strong, with good Chinese, Western and local specialties. The breakfast is reasonably arranged, accompanied by the natural beauty outside the window and delicious food.
The hotel staff took the initiative to help carry luggage and were always on call.
Objectively speaking, two days of stay is a perfect travel experience.

The hotel room is good in all aspects and the decoration is quite good. But the fly in the ointment is that there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom. The family has to open the door to ventilate when they go to the toilet. This experience is not good. In fact, the cost of installing an exhaust fan in each room is not high. mom

The newly opened hotel, the facilities are new, and there is an automatic toilet; the house is very clean. The large floor-to-ceiling windows are a piece of farmland, which is very original. The sound insulation effect is not very good. I don't know why there are people teaching children next door at three o'clock in the middle of the night. The child is crying and crying. This time I came to Guangxi and planned to visit Detian Waterfall. I chose Zhanpeng International Hotel in Chongzuo Daxin County on Ctrip. This hotel opened in 2020. Parking is very convenient and it is relatively new in all aspects. The hotel rooms are quite large and clean and tidy, which makes people feel like they have a good stay. In addition, the service is also good and more enthusiastic.

The camp is located in a corner of the old kapok scenic spot, online at the Sino-Vietnamese border, next to the boundary monument. From 11 pm to 7 am, there are drones patrolling and the sound is very loud. If you sleep lighter or timid, it is recommended to consider RVs or hotel rooms. There is no problem sleeping five people in the tent, but those who sleep in the attic will noisy other beds. When the wind is strong at night, the tent will also be blown down and make a noise. One night, the sound of the wind, the sound of drones, the children turned over, the sound of small insects, like a symphony. In addition, overall, the tent is still relatively clean, slippers and towels and other necessary supplies are also available. The old kapok scenic spot is halfway from the visitor center to the ticket gate. It costs 20 yuan to take a taxi from the hotel to the ticket gate. This hotel was amazing! Every aspect was built with comfort, beauty and relaxation in mind. The setting of the hotel is in the perfect spot right on the river and surrounded by towering mountains.They should add ”resort” to the name. The room was plush and spacious with a great view of both river and mountains. The infinity pool is amazing and built for relaxation. It has comfortable cabana style lounge chairs literally in the pool. The staff is very attentive and met every need. They also provide shuttle service to the river rafting starting point and provide bicycles for riding around the countryside. (The hotel is also the end point of the river rafting trip.) The only downside is that the hotel is difficult to get to. Apparently there are plans to make this town into a tourist destination. Most of the major roads were torn up and the facades of most buildings are under construction. Even with that, being at the resort makes all that irrelevant. If you need a place to wash all your stress away, this is the perfect place. If I had one recommendation, it would be to think about foreign guests in terms of adult beverages. There is a beautiful bar right next to the pool... but one doesn't want tea while at the pool. Everything else about this hotel is perfect.

Amazing hotel! It really is more like a resort with a lot of things to discover. Unfortunately, probably due to the current pandemic situation, not everything has been in operation. You got a little nice bar for the occasional long-nighter 😅 there and a restaurant with a huge menu of different meals. The restaurant service has been unbelievable quick to serve the fresh cooked dishes. The hotel itself has been quite clean and the service staff always been helpful. Do not expect anyone speaking English thou. The whole surrounding is taken care of with visible passion and still you feel like in the middle of the jungle. If you got some time to spare, walk around the little village outside the hotel and try to find the small beautiful almost historic part of it, still being actively lived in by the locals. Just please always be respectful and cautious not to disturb them in any way.
FYI: if you arrive there by bus from from Nanning (南宁) to DaXin (大新) (the ride itself is absolutely worth it), there are local drivers Infront of the bus station who know how to get to the hotel. Just make sure not to pay more then 250 RMB. Also make sure all your health codes, passports, visas, etc are all in order and quickly handy. After all it is a border region and the are a lot of checkpoints to pass through. That's no time to mess up anything.

Can’t fault the hotel for service and cleanliness. The rooms are basic yet with a great level of comfort. Beds are comfortable and you have everything you need. The ladies at the front desk are really sweet and ready to help. You need a translating app or they can call someone who speaks English to communicate with you. As a foreigner being here at Chinese New Year it was hard being in town. The fireworks were loud and there was some street noise but we understood this is normal for the time of year. It would be great if the hotel utilised some of the outside spaces to make them a nice place to hang out. Some things to know: transport is expensive to get to the hotel unless you do busses and trains. However this is not straightforward and may not fit in with your timeline. Transport to some features is also pricey- about 400 per car Chinese new year prices (it’s not that they overcharge it’s just that things are far and there may not be another option for transport). We were a large group and needed 2 cars. If you get off the main road and into the scenic paths it is beautiful with cycle routes. There is a sweet bamboo river cruise you can do in and around town: Food is traditional Chinese everywhere you go but we have been here long enough to navigate that.
Definitely go river rafting and cave exploring at Gulong waterfall/ cave. Tongling waterfall and scenic area is close there as well but we didn’t go. It is 80km away and a car will cost you but it is worth it. We also went to Detian waterfall which is nice but busy at Chinese new year. There was a a cool human conveyor belt up a section and a slide down which is fun. For this trip there is a bus leaving from the Mingshi scenic area bus terminal. Tickets are 20 per person. People here are generally sweet and the area is beautiful but it is rural China and you need the right attitude to approach this. It will be a rewarding experience if you have that.

After watching the TV series ”Flower Fairy Valley” a few years ago, I have always wanted to visit Mingshi Pastoral. I recently went to Nanning on a business trip, so I took the time to go and have fun. I opened Ctrip to look for a hotel and looked at several nearby hotels. I was attracted by the B&B hotel in Fangyuan. I didn’t expect that the B&B here has a cream style. Compared with other B&B hotels, the decoration tone is indeed more in line with my aesthetics, fresh and elegant, warm and comfortable! I made up my mind immediately.
Let’s talk about the experience of staying here. 1. Environment: This B&B has just been renovated. I heard that it just started its trial operation during the National Day. It is very clean and has no peculiar smell. The bathtub is facing the scenery. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery when taking a bath. This shows that the owner It is designed with great care, and it is only 200 meters away from the Mingshi Pastoral Scenic Area. 2. Service: The lady at the front desk is very attentive and enthusiastic. She is kind and kind. She also told us where to see and eat in the surrounding area. When it comes to food, we have to mention their roast pig, which is really great. Delicious, haha! There are also native chickens and ducks. It's a pity that we didn't stay long, otherwise we could have tried more dishes. 3. Facilities: I didn’t expect that this B&B is not big, but it has smart devices in the whole room. Comparable to B&Bs. The beautiful scenery of the karst landform makes people happy physically and mentally, and the food and accommodation at Fangyuan Hotel makes people miss it. One word, thumbs up👍, I’ll come back next time!

With the current travel restrictions we were nervous we’d not be allowed into the province and the hotel staff were helpful getting us the information we needed to enter the county and final arrive at their hotel. We felt taken care of and they arranged a driver to pick us up at the airport. They greeted us with smiles, the housekeeper left fruits and a nice hand written note, and the front desk did their best to make our stay a comfortable one. We were traveling with our toddler and the food options were delicious and affordable. We want to say thank you to Chen Kai for going out of his way to make us feel special and welcomed. He speaks English and made many great suggestions regarding travel, activities, and calling the hospitals to see where we could get our nucleic test. The space is surrounded my mountains and it’s green everywhere you look. You can take a boat ride along the river located just in front of the property. Currently there is construction on one side, they are expanding the facilities. The whole space is nice as worth a visit. We didn’t give a 5 for amenities because we felt it could have catered more to families.
