My mum and I visited for our Birthday treat. On arrival we were met by James a very friendly and professional welcome. We checked into the spa, great location in Christchurch. The spa is in a small area but perfect for mum and I to relax. We both had excellent treatments by Katy and Lily. So friendly, it was lovely to meet them both. The facilities were good. The bubbly brunch was a treat, the warm welcome we received by a young man, apologies I did not get his name, tall and quite young but he was very genuine and welcoming. The restaurant team were great, thank you for our lovely brunch and a Birthday treat for Mum and I I at the end of the meal. We look forward to returning.

We decided to use the Captains Club in Christchurch because of its beautiful location and amazing design. The hotel is immaculately clean from the bar, restaurant and our fantastic suite. The welcome was brilliant with car park spaces set aside for us and our guests. Luggage taken to our suite and welcome drinks supplied. From that point on the hotel staff clicked into wedding mode. Every thing just flowed seamlessly from start to finish. Amy and Tim are the utmost professional people with attention to the smallest details. The restaurant food is incredible. As you can probably tell we had an amazing experience with the Captains Club.

I Visited the Captains Club with my Wife for afternoon tea. The tea was well presented. However the Scones were burnt and probably the worst we have ever tasted. The sandwiches were dry and did not taste fresh. We have had many better Afternoon Teas so will not be returning as did not feel that it was worth the price paid.

Our first stay at this fabulous hotel. It was so good we have booked again in a couple of weeks’ time. Yes it was amazing weather but the location was stunning overlooking the river and the food was absolutely exceptional. We have travelled all over the UK and beyond and this was the best food we have ever had at any hotel. Somebody knows what they are doing. Wonderful room, spa facilities and just fabulous, friendly staff. Just can’t remember having such a wonderful weekend away.

I took my son out for his birthday and have now been here a few times. Always a nice atmosphere. However due to dietary restrictions I have to have soup, I asked for a larger bowl but was given a small bowl so was starving throughout the night. I have also noticed the last few times I have ordered it, I am never full. I question if it made with a power form. As you would expect it to be made from scratch in a place like this. I actually paid £16.00 for a bowl the last time I was there and was hungry a few hours later. Very watery too. Quite disappointed

This hotel is absolutely beautiful- stunning scenery and lovely luxurious rooms. The staff were so kind, friendly and helpful. The foods was excellent and served well. Special thanks to Luke who took such good care of us. Will definitely revisit as soon as possible.

Fantastic Easter Sunday Lunch , there was 16 of us and nothing was a problem, This is not this first time we have been and I’m sure we will be booking for next year. Service, Food and quality is fantastic, great location, lovely bar area Would recommend it

Really lovely hotel. Was very busy on arrival but booked to have a massage which was excellent. Room was large and a great view. Slight gripe would be that it was 2 beds pushed together.Evening meal was excellent. Had room service for breakfast in the morning, which was fantastic!! Will definitely go back ! Was so lucky with the weather.

This hotel is the friendliest hotel I have stayed in. I stayed with my wife and her two sisters last week for two nights. Every member of staff was helpful, friendly and professional. We had dinner here on the first night which we all thoroughly enjoyed, Luke, the deputy manager and sommelier, gave us great advice for the wines. The breakfast choice and quality was very good too. I would recommend this hotel very strongly.
