Qiandao Lake M Coral Lake View Private Pool Homestay (Tea Garden)

The pictures were different and the amenities listed didn’t correspond with what was there. The room was much smaller than it looked and the pool was dirty. The view was nice but there was construction happening right next door. Not many options for food and the breakfast was not good at all, the fruit wasn’t fresh. The food description says they have Chinese and western but there certainly was no western food. It’s also far from town so there was no wai mai available. It wasn’t the worst place but certainly wasn’t worth the amount we paid.

Positives: 😁 This hotel 🏨 is GORGEOUS. Absolutely beautiful. I couldn’t decide which photos to use for my photoshoot because there are so many great pictures. The hotel is perfect for instagram or social media. The service 👨✈️ was amazing. The staff are very friendly and accommodating to all our needs. The manager went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. The food 🍱 was delicious! There are many different choices and set options. We especially loved the fried pork. Negatives: 😕 Location 📍you can’t hike or explore anywhere around this hotel. You are essentially stuck to this property. All activities are at least 30min-2 hour drive away. Room design 🛏️ I included this in the photos, the bed is on a wooden stand with sharp edges and it’s very easily to run into it and forget it’s there. My bf and I both hit our shins pretty hard on it, it was painful. Drinks🥂 it was my birthday and I wanted to enjoy some cocktails or champagne with this view, but you are limited to beer 🍺 only. Just bottled Budweiser and Tsingtao. Overall, I’d stay again if I wanted to relax in peace for the weekend. Bring your own alcohol.
