Check in was good - friendly man at reception who gave us some good info about the oyster festival. The room was super clean, set out well and had everything that was needed. Good location, within walking distance of restaurants, pub, club & the water. Would definitely stay here again.

I travel a lot as a Rep and I can honestly say I have never been met at reception by a more disgusting, rude male person. He questioned my patience as when I arrived the reception door was locked, no lights on and a note on the door to ring a number if the office was unattended. He proceeded to open the door grumbling and then proceeded to argue with me why I had no patience and why I was ringing when he was there and it just took him a bit of time to open the door. I questioned why he had the door locked and no lights on if he was there. To which he kept on questioning my patience, which at this time, was becoming quite thin. After a long day of traveling this was the last thing I needed. If the booking had not been paid for I would have gone elsewhere. The room was average and had a bad smell. As previous reviews I have now read it seems to be normal for him and I would suggest as others that he find another line of work as obviously he is not happy in his current position. I would not recommend this property.

I have regularly stayed here over the years while travelling with my work in health. I have also chosen to stay here with family on holiday because I love the area and this is my top pick for accommodation. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and tastefully decorated. The updated bathrooms and soft furnishings have lifted the rooms to the next level. Throughout Covid times cleanliness has been exemplary, I always feel confident and reassured that the staff go above and beyond to ensure safety of guests. The friendly staff also go out of their way to try to meet room requests which is very much appreciated and I always look forward to my visits.

The location, right by the beach, was a coastal paradise, and we enjoyed exploring the nearby attractions. The range of activities, from swimming to coastal walks, kept the whole family entertained. The friendly and helpful staff made our stay even more enjoyable. Cleanliness standards were impeccable throughout the park. Nice lady on reception. Efficient laid back service. Booked a bungalow that was clean and modernized. Thanks for the milk in the fridge too! It’s lovely to stroll the property an lake edge. The caravans are modern and others permanent with fibro cement cladding. It’s a mix of 70s culture and affluent grey nomads with gonads!
