Chain hotel in Hinton, basic breakfast, good laundry facilities. We were put in the second building, which a little frayed round the edges butdually upgraded. The staff were so helpful especailly theBeaver Boardwalk. Saw 5/6 beaver pups swim out into the lake early evening.

I didn't book a Jasper hotel, there was no way, I could only drive 80 kilometers to live in Hinton. Holiday Inn is an express hotel in good condition and affordable. The bed in the room was quite large with a microwave and parking was free.

The location is very quiet just off highway 16 on the farthest West side of Hinton.. Walking across the street there are street there are grocery stores and restaurants.. The Front staff were always friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean with a Mini fridge and microwave. The noise does travel very easily between between floors and rooms. Try to get a room farthest away from the front desk. Breakfast was typical eggs, meat, potatoes, waffles, yogurt, cereal.. Quality was just average. However, they have a full time staff dedicated on keeping the Breakfast area fully stocked and clean which was appreciative as many people and crews were coming and going and it was nice to have everything filled and cleaned. The room was large and the bed was very clean. There is a small kitchen, the kitchen cabinet has simple kitchenware and dishes, and the toiletries are not expected to be pharmacopia. Breakfast is a simple Western food. Except for check in and out, I always can't find out that I have prepaid the room rate online, everything else is good.

The hotel is located on the main road, 70 kilometers from Jasper National Park. The hotel rooms are spacious and bright, and the surrounding environment is quiet at night. You can drive to the living supermarket in town in 5 minutes by car. It is convenient to park for free! Breakfast is a typical American style, not to mention good or bad!

The hotel's internal facilities are very good, breakfast is also very good, there is parking, free. However, the price is too expensive and will not be refunded after booking. 60-70 km from Jasper, more biased. Going back 1000 meters, there is a Chinese restaurant, which is opened by Filipinos and has a good taste.

Stayed 1 night July 2021 . Rooms were a bit dated but clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable and water pressure was amazing in the shower. Fridge in our room was very big not just a little mini fridge so if someone is wanting a room with a bigger fridge / freezer this is the place to stay. Coin operated laundry services if you need. Free Parking included. There is a great little restaurant next door called Milos Grill & Restaurant of you show your room key card you get 10% off your meal purchase. Would stay here again. Would recommend to stay in Hinton if jasper hotels are out of your budget or aren’t available. The drive is scenic and a lot to see and do between Hinton & Jasper.

We stayed for 3 days at the Tara Vista Inn in Hinton, Alberta after being evacuated from the forest fire in Edson, Alberta. After spending the first night in our vehicles it was a true relief to find a facility as great as the Tara Vista was - super clean rooms, comfortable beds, under the circumstances of the evacuation it was great to have a bar fridge and a microwave in the rooms. We had pets and the people at the Tara Vista welcomed the animals with no issues what-so-ever. The facility was so accommodating and made sure that anything that was required was made available. The customer service was top of the line and they made sure that people felt very welcome. Highly recommend the Tara Vista Inn!! Mal & Cathy
