Hotel is right across the street from the St Gallen train station, and about 15 mins walk from the St Gallen Abbey /Library.
Room size is considered reasonably large compared to other Swiss hotels of the same rating, and is quite modern and neat.
Take note however that many amenities like toothbrush /paste, mineral waters and slippers are not provided.
Breakfast is of limited variety, just bread, salads, coffee /tea.
There is a authentic Thai food restaurant, in a street alley just behind the restaurant, which is very good and of reasonable price.
Front desk staff can speak English, but not Mandarin.

The room is quite big, new and clean, the environment is sanitary, and parking is free. Although it is on the highway side, the soundproofing effect is very good, it is quite satisfactory for the transition overnight.

My room was not large, but perfectly adequate. The towels are not plush, but clean and completely adequate. The bed was a queen, perfect. Wi-Fi good & reliable. If you are a light sleeper you might mention that as there can be a bit of noise late (when the bars close?) and early in the morning (street sweeping?) No safe in the room, didn't ask if one at the desk.

For anyone coming to visit St Gallen, we can highly recommend TouchBed City Apartments. The location is super centric, and our studio even had a beautiful view of the old town and the Abbey. The self-checking was easy and convenient, the building is modern and the studio was great! We loved having our own kitchen as eating out in Switzerland can be really expensive. The kitchen was super clean and very well equipped for cooking. The bed was comfy and the shower was also great. We can recommend this place for any type of traveler on both leisure and business trips.

CChoi TYHotel is right across the street from the St Gallen train station, and about 15 mins walk from the St Gallen Abbey /Library.
Room size is considered reasonably large compared to other Swiss hotels of the same rating, and is quite modern and neat.
Take note however that many amenities like toothbrush /paste, mineral waters and slippers are not provided.
Breakfast is of limited variety, just bread, salads, coffee /tea.
There is a authentic Thai food restaurant, in a street alley just behind the restaurant, which is very good and of reasonable price.
Front desk staff can speak English, but not Mandarin.

GGuest UserFor anyone coming to visit St Gallen, we can highly recommend TouchBed City Apartments. The location is super centric, and our studio even had a beautiful view of the old town and the Abbey. The self-checking was easy and convenient, the building is modern and the studio was great! We loved having our own kitchen as eating out in Switzerland can be really expensive. The kitchen was super clean and very well equipped for cooking. The bed was comfy and the shower was also great. We can recommend this place for any type of traveler on both leisure and business trips.

The hotel is really nice, modern the room ia clean and comfortable. Location... Well, it´s next to the railway, could be better but if you don´t mind hearing the trains coming and going shouldn´t be a problem. Make sure that you are travelling light as there´s only a really small storage space in the room. The staff is friendly.

GGuest UserMy room was not large, but perfectly adequate. The towels are not plush, but clean and completely adequate. The bed was a queen, perfect. Wi-Fi good & reliable. If you are a light sleeper you might mention that as there can be a bit of noise late (when the bars close?) and early in the morning (street sweeping?) No safe in the room, didn't ask if one at the desk.

GGuest UserWe spent 3 nights in a family room (6 people) with WC & shower. The hotel is located in the centre of the city, with public transport access right in front of the door and a free public transport card during the stay (valid from St-Galway to the Lake of Constance). We enjoy discovering the city of St-Galle, a bike tour on the edge of the lake of Constance, as well as a walk in the mountains of Appenzell.
