"The service here was outstanding. They had breakfast each morning, offered their own scooter rentals. Sent up fruits when we passed through the lobby. The hotel owner was always available to chat. They were very responsive. The hotel was in a great location, slightly removed from the main town. It was very peaceful by the Yulong river. The room itself was incredible, if you can you should book the suite with the skylight ceiling."

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at Li Yu Hotel West Street in Yangshuo, and I can confidently say it exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. The hotel itself is perfectly located just a short walk from the famous West Street, making it an ideal base for exploring the charming old town, vibrant night markets, and scenic spots along the Li River. Despite being so close to the action, the hotel maintains a calm and peaceful atmosphere, which is perfect after a day of sightseeing. The rooms are stylishly designed, clean, and spacious, with modern amenities and touches of traditional Chinese décor that give it a unique local charm. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed, spotless bathroom, and thoughtful extras like complimentary tea, water, and quality toiletries. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable throughout my stay, which made it easy to plan my daily trips. Another highlight was the rooftop area, where I enjoyed relaxing in the evening with a view of the surrounding karst mountains – a truly magical experience. The front desk staff also went out of their way to help me book a bamboo rafting tour and gave excellent recommendations for local restaurants and cafes. Overall, Li Yu Hotel West Street offers exceptional value for money, blending great service, prime location, and comfortable accommodation. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Yangshuo, whether you’re here for adventure, culture, or just to unwind in one of China’s most picturesque towns."

"Otel güzel ve oda rahat yataklarla büyük. Otelde havuz, kütüphane ve çocuk oyun odası var. Personel çok cana yakın ve yardımsever, özellikle 小开 ve 小梁 çok dikkatli ve bize yardımcı olmak için ellerinden geleni yapıyorlar, örneğin valizlerimizi dışarıya taşıyorlar, her zaman önce asansöre binmemize veya inmemize izin veriyorlar. Eğer öyle olsaydım yanlış anlaşılmaya razı olurdum. Çünkü bu ev pansiyonu benim süper beş yıldızlı övgümü hak ediyor. Odaya nefis bir ikindi çayı servis edildi ve kızım gül banyosu yapmak istedi, bu nedenle ona kocaman bir kırmızı gül buketi hediye edildi. Çatı katındaki yüzme havuzunun da tadını çıkardık. "It was a shame I had paid for a more expensive room on the 5th floor for a view and the condensation meant I couldn’t see out of the window - there was an issue with the room as the other windows in the hotel didn’t have this issue. The staff were initially hesitant and blamed a window being left open when I arrived, but eventually granted a small discount. There are also cracks in the room which wasn’t great from a construction point of view. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend the hotel, but was grateful for the kind staff. I wasn’t impressed by the initial reaction of the staff member who I alerted - first he told me it was because it was raining and it would clear (this wasn’t true as none of the other rooms suffered from this issue - see the photos), then he blamed the open window (also irrelevant), next he came into my room without taking off his shoes, and then told me to turn off my air conditioning to get it to clear (again irrelevant). The sealant on the windows was also imperfect so you could see through the sealant to the outside air."

"Hotel location is the best, by the Li riverside, cross the road for the convenient wondering along the river with the mountain view. Also the harbour station is off the road, only a few meters away, where you get off the ferry from Guilin city center. Hotel is outstanding in all around. Clean of course, comfortable, for sure, big room size, bed good for back, smell nice Restaurant provide very tasty home made Chinese food, also local style dishes to choose. Me and my daughter and her English friend love it. The bread fast has lots choices from Chinese to western Most impressive things to mention they have very supportive team, from reception to restaurants staffs and also room cleaners, all very welcome and helpful. Anything you want to ask for advice or ideas, they are there to help. We have a great time in Yangshuo. Especially great and smooth stay in this hotel. Highly recommended. 🌷❤️"

"Cleaning was absolute spotless, service was up to expectations, location is good, there are many other hotels around so not much special about it. The garden was great and the surrounding is well maintained. The pool was clean. Only wish was for the animals to be displayed better, (like running around would have been great)"

"We had wonderful stay at the hotel. It is beyond expectation for the service and care. Mr.Seven helped us with the room, Lucy always available on wechat if we need help in anything, ordered food for us, the 2 ladies at restaurant took great care of us even went further to pack us breakfast at 6am to eat in the train. Cant say more. Will definitely stay here again."

"Outstanding, even though we were given room at level two as the hotel is fully booked due to many room requests for extended stay in this property (民宿). The room’s view is spectacular, we would just sit by the window and admire the view at all time. There were two time of power outages during the day time of our stay (due to local authorities upgrading work) but it don’t affect us much, as we were out for sightseeing during the day time. The staff are extremely friendly, and we in particular appreciate the service of xiao Yu (小余）, he is very patient in explaining to us how to use the electronic appliance in the room and answer to all our questions with a lovely smile. If we have more time, we would extend our stay too. If 5 is full mark, we would rate 6!"

"We loved our stay here. The view was truly exceptional. We stayed in the family suite with two queen beds. It's suppose to have a private pool but we were unable to fill it so don't expect that private pool. The room was spacious. It has a sunken seating area made of stone so it's a bit hard. Some cushions would be nice. The view is so nice none of this matters! We also did the dress-up/photography activity. It's done right by the pool with the mountains in the background. Absolutely stunning. Breakfast food was fine. Service is fine."
