We spent a week here over our Birthday in September and had the most relaxed time ever. On Monday we were, quite literally, the only people there as the hotel closed for their rest day. The staff were courteous and friendly. Very polite but we were able to laugh with them too. The pool was very welcome in the heat of the day. Our room overlooked the pool. We had a balcony where we enjoyed drinks in the evening before bed. The walk in shower was huge and the water pressure was great. The bed very comfortable.

We stayed at Valle del Este (VdE) in Nov/Dec 2021 for 28 nights. It is difficult for any hotel to maintain high standards for that length of time but VdE hotel achieved it. We were on half-board and had been concerned that, for such a long stay, the food would be too repetitive or not up to standard. However, that was not the case. The variety and quality of food was excellent both at breakfast and dinner. Housekeeping was similarly high-quality. The room was always serviced thoroughly, very clean and well-equipped. There were only a couple of 'blots on the copybook' neither relating to hotel standards but to the management/policies of the hotel. On one occasion, we wished to have lunch instead of dinner (and were going to be joined by 6 others) but reception gave a firm ”no” and were intransigent on the issue. Not good! The second issue is there new, and high-quality golf practice area. Despite being guests in a 'golf hotel' (and staying for a whole month) we were told (again in no uncertain terms) that the practice area was off-limits to everyone other than those on coaching holidays. This was despite the fact that the practice facility remained empty for more than 90% of our stay. This is a GOLF HOTEL and the facility is advertised on their website. There is NO indication that the facility cannot be used! To summarise, excellent room, food and housekeeping but there is no 'joined-up' or business mentality in some of the management.

Acabamos de llegar de pasar una semana allí y la verdad es que casi todo lo que tengo que decir de este hotel y su servicio es bueno. Me preocupaba después de leer comentarios por aquí el tema de la comida y el aire acondicionado. Sobre la comida. La comida está buena. No es un estrella michelin pero la comida se puede comer sin problema. Además casi todas las noches hacen cenas temáticas como italiana, mexicana, etc. Leí también que tardaban mucho en reponer y sinceramente nosotros eso no lo vivimos ya que solían reponer bastante rápido. El último día si que tardaron un poco en poner gofres pero se los pedí y en nada los sacaron. El único punto débil que vi son los postres a mi me encanta el arroz con leche y este no me gustó nada y bueno los zumos del desayuno que frescos estarían mejor. El café es de maquina pero está bastante bueno. Todos los que trabajan en el comedor son majísimos. Si te sobra agua te la guardan para la próxima vez. Me hubiese gustado que hubiese todo incluido. El aire acondicionado a nosotros nos funcionó bien. Lo único que si que se escucha bastante pero no nos molestó para dormir. El hotel muy cuidado y limpio es pequeño pero está todo bastante bien. Habitación muy grandes y limpias. Las camas muy bien dormí genial. Pedí 1 almohada de sobra y me la dejaron sin problema. Estuvimos muy agusto en nuestra habitación. Las piscinas me gustaron mucho. De sobra para todo el hotel. Tienen 2 grandes y una redonda pequeña para los peques. Lo único que no me gustó y que si deberían cambiar es que a las piscinas les rodea una zona pintada de blanca que escurre mi hijo se escurrió 2 o 3 veces y yo caí de rodillas un día. Eso si es algo que creo que deberían cambiar. Animación. Muy bien. Manu es un crack y tanto nosotros como los niños lo pasamos genial con él. Lo pasamos genial jugando al ajedrez vikingo y al tiro con arco. Además Manu junto con Antonio el socorrista son los primeros que se apuntan a todos los juegos. También me gustó mucho el Aqua gym fue divertido y relajante. Mis hijos son timidos y al final Manu se los ganó. Manu si volvemos espere que sigas por allí. Gracias por todo. Las actuaciones por las noches muy divertidas nos encantó Voty el mago y Juanma el mago. El bingo muy divertido al igual que la noche de las bandas sonoras. La zona muy tranquila, con buenas playas, cerca hay 2 parques, una pequeña feria para los niños, heladería, feria artesanal... En definitiva espero volver porque hemos estado como en casa!!! Hotel between beach and city. Large and comfortable bed. Impeccable cleaning. That smells very good. Breakfast at the letter, very good and well presented. This is very clean and with shower, dryer and gel. If you put a but, you would miss a mirror of increase. Excellent experience!!!
