I find it very difficult to review a Hotel that purports to be for people going there to enjoy a holiday. Tranquility for adults to enjoy and rest next to the sea- Relax and disconnect are both prominently shown on its website! Regrettably this did not happen during our eleven day stay. For my part this is nothing other than a ‘Business Hotel’ For example many guests attended for a few days to attend organised business meetings. Others were there taking part in golf tournaments. In addition it was noticed a number of large groups were staying at the hotel for perhaps one or two days. More infuriating was the fact many people found it in order to have many long and loud business meetings on their phones as they lounged on sun beds alongside the pool which made it totally impossible to relax and disconnect in any way. This establishment is not one of Iberostars leading hotel. It is in fact in the lowest grade of the company’s structure.Interestingly IHG and Iberostar recently set up a strategic alliance BUT this hotel is not part of that alliance! The hotel had no soul with nothing whatsoever being memorable. Daily organised events should have taken place but absolutely nothing happened whatsoever!! Another very big disappointment related to the dress code. The website clearly states gentlemen must wear trousers for evening meals but this was completely ignored. Some individuals took no notice with a number wearing torn jeans that would have been a credit for anyone working on a building site. The ladies? Oh dear oh dear! Many wore skimpy shorts and tops that left a lot for anyone’s imagination. None of the guests were asked by staff to comply with the company’s dress code. What a shame for the minority who had gone to the trouble to dress appropriately. The hotel is not situated in an ideal place for sun worshippers. The very small pool with numerous sun beds crammed around it is dwarfed on one side by the nine storey Marina Playa Hotel and the other side by the equally tall Iberostar. Moving sun beds became a regular feature during the day to keep out of the shade. Nearby beach? Well it’s not too far away but accessible by a walk over an uneven surface which makes it very unfriendly for those experiencing walking difficulties. The pool Bar—— what another very big disappointment. It may supply certain drinks but any food consists of nothing other than crisps,biscuits and cakes. No hot food whatsoever! Unfortunately there was no atmosphere at this hotel. It had very little if anything going for it. Would I recommend it to anyone? Absolutely NO

Nice clean service-oriented hotel, delicious food - for everyone is always something. Nice staff, super great animation. You simply feel comfortable and arrived on holiday. Despite the size of the hotel everything works super. By the proximity to the beach there were always free beds in the pool area We come back in any case and are happy now

GGuest UserI booked this last minute as a surprise for my hubby I booked through Cheeky Trip I had a price in mind for all include They told me they wasnt the live prices and I wouldn't get one at that price and was put under pressure to book as i was told there were only a few places on the plane left i couldn't find this hotel has it kept coming up under bj playa Blanca and i even asked them to check if it was a same hotel and was told not to worry and go and enjoy it so i read the reviews and went with a open mind it was as we had no honeymoon with me being ill and disabled in and out hospital all time and just wanted a cheap holiday just me and him no kids As we got to the airport from the plane being delayed the transfer driver got lost and went down one-way streets we took over an hour longer transfer we arrived at 2 am to be told we had no room and they couldn't find are booking with very little English we worked out they found us on room for the night and to go back at 10 am and they change us rooms we went back at 10 am to a different person told us to say there that night we reported we had no hot water no lights on balcony again to be told to come back at 10 am went back at 10.30 the next day and asked for a room change to be told we needed to check out now we had no holiday no transfers and no fight and our holiday had been cancelled panic sent in we had no money to pay we had no Wi-Fi to email so I had to ring family to ring the travel agency to find out what was going on they to us to give them time and they sort it out we explained we only had an hour or we be out and they had our passports I brought extra date to email them myself to and even rang they kept saying not to worry how can u not worried when hotel wanted us out in 20 mins they told us not to move we talked the hotel into giving us an extra day on the agreement I would pay if I had to we spent the full day to 6 pm on the phone panicking we could leave the ground or eat with worry we was only they 4 days so we still had no hot water or lights they agreed to change us rooms we had a smallest fan it was facing pool so the sun was shining all day and it was red hot no air con we had to pay for a fridge and fan at 5 euros a night they was no kitchen area no cups no fridge nothing with it being b and b u would expect a little fridge. so the new room was ready and hot still no lights working and the noise was unbearable people in the pool at 3 and 4 a.m. people partying on sun lounges at 5 am Breakfast was cold even if we were first in at 7.30 we went to the bar and brought a beer and cocktail was going back to our room past reception and the man shouting in front of about 6 people checking in asking if I ordered a beer and cocktail I said yes they tried to embarrass us saying we never paid and got dragged to bar area for them to speak in they own language and he replays ok This is a false adverti*****t at its best no Wi-Fi no crazy golf no karaoke no 24-hour recitation
