"I was only informed that the morning sauna was free, so I paid to use the sauna at night. However, I’m now wondering if guests staying at the hotel were actually allowed to use the sauna at night for free as well, since I heard that other guests using the sauna didn’t pay.
it’s amazing that you can stay at a hotel with a sauna included for this price."

"The breakfast is amazing and the staff are very friendly. The location is perfect for exploring Helsinki. The room was nice.
Room for improvement: we asked to have the room cleaned one day and the cleaner came, but they did a pretty sloppy job. Several of our items had been tossed on the floor or under or behind the bed when they made the beds. And they did not take out the bathroom trash or clean the bathroom at all."

"It was a nice hotel. The room was clean and quite spacious. Do note there is no bellboy service (which is common in Europe) so you have to push your heavy luggages yourself. The breakfast was superb."

"Just 1 walking minute from the Malmi station, which is served by the airport line (only 15 minutes to the airport), so very conveniently located. Our late check-in (1am in the morning) was working fine, just had to type many details into the tablet computer (maybe this could be pre-filled before arrival). The room was cheap for that price and had all needed amenities. It was clean too. We can recommend this, especially when you come from or go to the airport."

FFantastic13Overall, my recent stay with Bob W was disappointing.
I booked the 4-person penthouse room primarily for the use of the sauna on my last day of the trip.
Firstly, pin code provided was only valid for door access to the stairs, not door to the elevator side at night. This became a significant inconvenience, especially for a female traveler like myself who arrived at night after a tiring flight. Having to carry a 20kg luggage and a 10kg carry-on up five flights of stairs was both physically demanding and frustrating. Clear arrangements on how to access the elevator at night should have been considered for guest.
Secondly, check-in process was not clearly communicated, causing panic upon arrival. Unfortunately, I had to seek help from customer service on a third-party booking site and reach out via email to obtain a check-in link, which added unnecessary stress and confusion.
Furthermore, instruction for turning on the sauna were unclear, and I was unable to enjoy it until the next morning at 8am, just few hours before my checkout time. I had specifically chosen the penthouse room with the sauna for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. due to the lack of clear instructions, and had to seek assistance to figure out how to operate it properly, which ate into the limited time I had available to enjoy the amenity.
In conclusion, my stay with Bob W fell short of my expectations. The limited time to enjoy the amenities, issues during the check-in process and accessing the elevator, made for a less than satisfactory experience. I hope that Bob W seriously takes feedback into consideration and makes the necessary improvements to ensure a more enjoyable stay for travelers in the future. Thank you

MMisafir KullanıcıThe hotel is located very close to the central station with many restaurants and cafes in the surroundings. The facilities are very new and clean. However the rooms are not quite like the pictures, the standard double room we booked is so small that we can only open one luggage at a time and we ended upgrading to another room type. It's not a big difference in terms of money but we feel scammed and the perception isn't great.
Another thing when we tried to use the sauna their staff told us we needed to pay for it and book a session in advance (at least two hours in advance I believe), which no one mentioned before not even when we check-in nor printed anywhere in the hotel.
Overall the hardware is og high quality and I'm quite happy with it, however, the software in terms of service and communication has plenty of room to grow.

HHalf a century on the planet EarthThe location of this hotel is unbeatable. Just turn left out from the door of the restricted area. Walk along the passageway until you reach the lift and staircas leading down to the basement. The few minutes walk is all indoor, so you don't even need to hand carrying the water jacket with you. The first stop of the hotel is a self check-in iPad station. Yet, the actual check-in counter is in the bar next to it; which they called it a Barception. The room is tiny. It might be difficult for 2 persons to share their twins room. The bathroom is tiny, too. It might again be difficult for an adult man to take a shower in that diamond shape shower room (because one of the corners was cut to free up space). Only all in one shower and hair washing liquid is available.

The bed has a curtain, a mirror, plugs, a lamp, and shelves. The hostel emails all the codes for the building and the hostel for easy check-in. There was no one at the reception when I arrived, but a welcome card was left with my room key. It was unacceptable that a low bed was not reserved for me. It was a nightmare to go to the upper bed.

BBeefstuSenate Hotel, although basic, is situated well for local attractions - 10 minutes walk from the shops/ restaurants/nightlife of Helsinki city centre; 15 minutes walk from the harbour, if you arrive by ferry; and right next to Senate Square/Helsinki Cathedral. The hotel, itself, is based in an apartment building, on the fifth floor, and has ten rooms. There's a five-hour window, in which there's a receptionist to meet you (3-8pm). Outside of this time, you are given a code to enter the main door of the building, and then the front door of the hotel section, which I had to do. As it turned out, a friendly staff member was still there when I arrived, and I was fortunate enough to be given a free room upgrade. The double room I was given, was larger than average, and included a wash basin and small refrigerator. The bathroom and toilets are shared, but clean with a good, strong shower, and separate men's and women's toilets. There's also a small shared kitchen, so you could prepare food. My hotel room had a comfy bed, and good thick enough curtains which, if you're here in the height of Summer, means you won't be woken by the sunrise before 4am! The decor is a bit dated, but if you need info on what to do, where to go, and what's happening in Helsinki, there's lots of information. This is more of a short-stay hotel - a few days, at most, but if you need a well-located, warm, simple place to base yourself while in the city, this is actually a good choice.

LLUDOGORIANAlle Bereiche außer meinem eigenen Zimmer wurden gemeinsam genutzt. Und es war sehr sauber. Gemeinschaftsküche, Gemeinschaftsbad, das Zimmer, in dem ich wohnte. Die fehlende Rezeption führte zu einer ständigen Anhäufung der Dichte. Ohne die Hilfe der russischsprachigen Frau, deren Geduld ich bewunderte, hätte ich diese Punkte nicht einmal vergeben.
