Eguisheim is a very beautiful town. It’s just a short drive from Colmar. It’s basically only French tourists. It’s very friendly. The hotel is very beautiful. This season, heating is the warmest. The residence, the hotel and its own restaurant, tried a very authentic French meal, it is not expensive, highly recommended

The breakfast was very good, with scrambled eggs, bacon, and less hot food in Europe. The hotel is a bit far from the main scenic spot. It takes about 20 minutes to walk. It is very close to the train station and the train station is two minutes away. But with the navigation, the first place will be to the location of Zhao Wei's Chinese restaurant, which is also a small surprise. If you don't go to Colmar for a special holiday, just want to pass a card, you can choose this one.

Very good location, opposite the train station. We can travel to surrounding cities very easily, but may be a bit far from the Colmar city center. Good room, good breakfast and very nice staff, they are very friendly to Asians like us.

The hotel Les Portes de la Vallee is a great place from which to visit Alsace, especially Colmar, Riquewhir, Eguisheim, the Route des Vins and of course Turckheim. Everyone at the hotel, which seems to be a family run operation, was very nice. They would help you discover the local area and recommend places to visit. The rooms were very clean, and the breakfast was good and not expensive at all. The hotel is located in a mostly residential area, which keeps things relatively quiet, and it is easy to drive to the above mentioned areas without the hassle of traffic. We stayed here for 3 nights with friends, and are planning on coming back again. Would highly recommend!

We found this to be bright and cheerful and very cosy. The ground floor may be a bit hostel type but that is fantastic, lots of colourful tables and you can access tea and coffee all day…except the cups are glass and are too hot to hold, but we doubled them up. The reception were very friendly. There is a carrefour opposite and we were able to eat our own food / wine at the tables. The breakfast was self serve , all fresh and nice. Our room was modern , clean with a great shower. Very happy with our stay!

The location was near the airport, so it was great for traveling early in the morning. The size was good for staying alone, and the cleanliness wasn't bad. For reference, looking at other reviews, it's about 10 minutes to the airport? There was an article saying that it actually takes about 25 minutes to walk. It feels like I walked for 10 minutes, but...
