Breakfast is good and cannot accommodate an extra bed. Unless it is a crib! Bringing a child must be driving. The hotel is far from the city!

I had the fortune of staying at Beaune Hôtel as part of a cycling trip in the region. Myself and my 13 Irish bike buddies received a very warm welcome after a day of cycling. The location was superb, well set-up for storing our bikes etc., rooms were very comfortable and clean with a lovely breakfast.The outstanding experience was the incredible hospitality shown by the staff in particular the kindness of Miriam. I injured my ankle and needed medical attention. Miriam took charge of the whole situation with such empathy. She went above and beyond to take care of me to personally assist, support, translate and keep me smiling! Her kindness will stay with me forever. I whole heartedly recommend Beaune Hôtel in this beautiful part of France, and look forward to returning.

Easy journey, great location. Met by reception who parked us, really excellent check in and a map given which was priceless that evening for dinner out. It's a lovely old hotel. The fact it's old doesn't mean anything needs to be shoddy though. Small windows, lots of dark, huge thick net curtains need changing to maximise light. Those coming what period features but want you to think how to make those work. No tea kettle or coffee machine? Not regional. Been to so many hotels in France who throw one in just to be helpful. Be fab to add them. Most don't want to wait till breakfast for their first drink of the day. In a £150 suite it was a shame to have nothing of that nature. Few other little things like really minimal tiny bath towels. Room 30 had no scope on adjusting the shower head so great water power but had to press into the taps to experience the jet. Other rooms do and have a great set up we understand that. It's quirky! It's clean, organised, tidy and friendly. Paying for parking as a overnight guest was a bit of a choker, but maybe there's a solid reason they have. Overnight stop over ..... adequate plus. hotel with obvious history, and I hear the breakfast that we didn't get time for and was extra, was very nice.

This is one big old hotel occupying extensive buildings which were formerly the Regional Post Office - it looks like an impressive building from the outside but there are internal areas that are still in need of attention - it must be a nightmare trying to up-keep a huge old hotel like this and still be profitable. The reception area is welcoming and the staff very nice and helpful - the 100 year old lift is still in operation - the bar is a step back in time and probably hasn't changed much for decades, the breakfast room is quite stark and resembles a hospital cafeteria - breakfast was ok however - excellent secure parking - our room was massive dwarfing the king-size bed with a ceiling height of at least 6 metres, probably the old sorting office ?

Great location, great/secure parking, cool room (despite hot temperature outside). But....we arrived at check-in, followed by another family, but had to wait for the receptionist to answer 2 external calls, before she would even acknowledge our presence. We had 3 bikes on our car, which we mentioned. The receptionist just waved to another part of the hotel, indicating where we could store the bikes safely. We subsequently discovered the secure parking, which meant we could leave the bikes with the car, but this was over an hour later, and with no assistance/suggestion from reception. As far as Covid 19 is concerned, the hotel just appeared to be paying lip service, with hand sanitisers available. Breakfast was a complete shambles. Just 1 lady struggling to provide clean trays, no social distancing, not enough room - people were taking trays to sit by the pool, as tables weren't being cleared - again no staff. We all felt very uncomfortable, and subsequently ended up eating on the front terrace - just to get away from other people, and to be able to sit down! Completely understaffed. Would we stay again (a stopover on the way to the Alpes), maybe, but definitely not while Covid19 remains an issue! The English receptionist at checkout, was very 'short'. We got the impression that the staff that were there, were completely overwhelmed.

Excellent hotel, conveniently located with free private parking. Reception were welcoming and friendly. Room was very comfortable with a pool view. Hotel bar and snack bar were both good with a friendly manager. The hotel isn’t cheap but, remember, nothing is in Beaune! This is the best Accor property we have stayed at in France in the last few years. Recommended.

Who loves classic old houses is right here. This prestigious hotel is located in the picturesque wine centre Beaune, but it doesn't miss modern comfort. Our room is not just large but well equipped. We feel well. On the one hand, it's a pity that there is no restaurant in the house, on the other hand, the city - easy to reach everything - offers a full of gastronomic offers of each category. The reception is lovely, as it is for the best-class hotels. Prices are, of course, a little ”high”.
