"The hotel was perfect for our stay of one night. It is clean & had everything we needed. It is perhaps a little functional & the beds were far too soft. We would use again for a one night stay."

"Can't fault the location, really handy Motorway links to Leeds just a short drive from Wakefield. Breakfast is really good, well cooked and readily replenished. However, tables were not being cleared, and there seemed to be no staff around to do it. The bedding and towels were clean, but the carpets needed a good shampoo, and the shower floor had hair on it."

"Beautiful location. Had a wonderful room on the corner with fantastic views. The only issue raised was there was no toilet paper and only one sachet of hot chocolate and a single pack of biscuits so we were unable to have a horrible chocolate and a pack of biscuits each at night. Would stay again and make use of spa facilities. Pool and steam room and sauna were perfect. Food was 5*"

"Cheap and cheerful is the best way to describe this hotel. It is situated on an industrial estate. Reception is a corner of the bar. I was greeted by a friendly member of staff when I arrived. The bar area is very clean and well spaced out. However if you arrive at the weekend at night the only food available is sandwiches or pizza and kitchen closes at 8pm. The rooms are in a separate building which look like a low rise block of flats. The rooms are very clean but they are stuck in the 1970’s. Bed super comfy for me and linen pristine white as are the towels. Plenty of tea and coffee available. Though would be nice if they offered decaf tea as well as coffee. Breakfast was included in my price which was excellent. This hotel is mostly used by workers who need an overnight stay. When I went out of my room there were plenty of staff cleaning every thing on site. The signage was being wiped down. Stair hand rails being cleaned, carpark was immaculate. All in all if you are looking for a cheap stop over and don’t mind 1970’s decor this is a good place to stay."
