Freedom Square
Zzinnia_615Freedom Square is the absolute center of the west bank of the Kura River. The towering statue of St. George slaying the dragon shines with golden light even on cloudy days, overlooking all living things. With this as the center of the circle, there is no need to deliberately plan the route. The streets in all directions can become an excellent route for exploring the city.
Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi
Zzinnia_615I just met the event celebration and watched it for 20 minutes. It was very good. The whole church was built very beautifully. The greening inside was good. The weather was not bad. I turned around inside.
Bridge Of Peace
Zzinnia_615The new pedestrian bridge across the Mtkvari River in Tbilisi, the Peace Bridge, was designed by Italian architect Michel De Lucchi and French lighting designer Philie Martinaud. This pedestrian bridge, built with glass and iron, connects the old and new districts of Tbilisi and has a 150-meter-high ceiling. On May 6, the pedestrian bridge was officially opened and became a modern design landmark in Tbilisi. From the bridge, you can see the Metekhi Church and Narikala Fortress, as well as the bridge and the presidential residence. It is equipped with an interactive light display system, including 30,000 LED lights and 240 sensors, flashing every hour along the bridge's two parapets according to special signals, much like Morse code, symbolizing the chemical elements of the human body and human life and peace. This shiny bridge is spun on the river in the shape of its marine life, with a near biological appearance.
Tbilisi sea
BbonniebonniebonnieColorful summer in Ruicun. Visit a seaside city on weekends. The football team of the town where I live happened to play there that day, and I encountered a fan parade; then I watched the padel tennis open; I went to swim in the sea with a super long beach and watched a concert on the sand "mountaintop", and of course I couldn't miss walking on the forest road.
Narikala Castle
EE56***63The Mother Fortress is located high in Georgia, from where you can see the whole of Georgia. In the evening, you can take a cable car up the mountain to wait for the sun to set and watch the sunset. The temperature in Tbilisi at night is only over 20 degrees in this season, which is really comfortable.
Georgian National Museum
BbonniebonniebonnieWe went to Georgia and found the scenery to be picturesque. Greenery filled the view along the way. The country under the Caucasus Mountains is very suitable for travel and living. The price is right and we like the simple and nutritious food there.
Mother of Kartli
HHalodaoIt is considered a beautiful viewpoint where you can enjoy a leisurely stroll.
Tbilisi History Museum
TTodemmyWe made a reservation on the museum website two days before the free entrance to take advantage of the offer on Mondays. Our choice fell on the 3:30 pm schedule. However, no message warned us that the museum closes at 4 pm on Mondays. However, when I bought the ticket, according to some people, almost all slots were available from 1 pm for 3 hours) and knew that visitors would therefore have less than 30 minutes? ? ? ! And without warning??? We barely managed to see a few rooms and we were suddenly invited to leave the museum by a large group of guards ... eager to empty the museum. This organization is incomprehensible and although we planned to spend the afternoon in the museum, our visit was cut short and we regret it very much. I find this a pity, especially since we will not be able to return to this museum at the end of our stay. This organization does not live up to the reputation of the museum.
Metekhi St. Virgin Church
山山水人生We crossed the European Square and visited Metke Church on the nearby highlands. This ancient church is relatively simple in its interior, but its historical value is not simple, because it used to be a prison for Comrade Gorky, a great writer we knew from childhood in the Soviet era. In front of the church is a large sculpture of the father of Georgia, Wahtag I of the Kingdom of Liberia, Georgia. This place is also said to be the origin of the city of Tbilisi. Take a break in front of Metke Church, which overlooks the European Square, the Kula River, and the "Mother of Georgia" sculpture at the top of the hillside not far away. The hillside, called Surolak, lies above the old city of Tbilisi.
