"It was our second stay at this hotel in 4 months. We especially liked the poolside terrace where we can see the sun rise over breakfast. The staff were excellent with their service and attentiveness."

"Check in without hassle. Deposit needed. Room cleanliness acceptable. No lift/elevator. Prepare to climb up stairs with your luggage. However it only have 4 floor. Airconditioner was cool. Tv working fine. Wifi available and connection is ok. Limit 2 device connection per room. Hot shower available too. Water pressure ok. Towel is clean. Overall its great for the price paid. The only issue is with the parking. No designated parking area for the hotel. Can only park at the street nearby the hotel. Not very secure if you park further away from the hotel."

"Pros: 1. Clean 2. Tranquil Japanese theme 3. Spacious room 4. Worth the money Cons: 1. No lift 2. Have some BUGS on the round cushion, after sitting on it for less than 10 minutes I felt itchy, realised that I got bitten at the back of my right thigh, at first I thought it was just from mosquitos bites, but 3 days later the bitten spots were still very red and super itchy I went to pharmacy to get some medicated cream, it took about a week to subside."

"It is located in the city centre. Old hotel, but the condition is above average and can be considered as good. Well maintained hotel. The security guy is also very helpful. The counter lady will ask you for 100,000 rupiah as a deposit and return it back once you check out. Will stay again here when we come to Singkawang."

"Hotel lobby looks nice. But people smokes openly inside this air conditioning space, such a turn off. Check in without hassle. Very fast. 2 person at the counter working. Warm face towel and welcome drinks offered complimentary. Swimming pool available but its raining during my visit. Didn’t get to utilize it. Room is okay but air conditioning is bad. Not cold. Complaint to receptionist but doesn’t seem to have any impact after the maintenance check it. View from room 1909 is amazing since its the 19th floor. Overall for a 4star hotel, its overated and overpriced"
