It was one of the oldest hotel and in one room, when i opened we can see the beach waves roaring to the shore. That was a good experience, no lift available to go to stairs, so aged members might find it difficult, otherwise it was excellent experience. Nominal fee rent for the rooms.

First of all, this is one of those hotels where the owner and his family is fully invested and interested in making the stay of the guests comfortable. This property is a hotel which combines some features of a home stay and a resort without trying to become either. It is maintenance and service can beat the best or more expensive hotels. I can testify it as we arrived at this place on 15th of April which was Vishu, Good Friday and a Ramadan Friday, wherein most people prefer to stay home and as a result all the staff was on leave barring one cook. Other than us (3 families/rooms), there was only one more family staying at the hotel at that time. The property has 3 acres of farm which has many plantations and many of the vegetables are grown organically. We are vegetarians and yet all efforts were made to serve us high quality food of our choice. Rooms are of decent size, clean well maintained so are the bathrooms. The whole place has a nice appeal to it and well designed. This place is ideal for events as well with large lawn and many rooms. It is very close to Kannur airport. It is also an ideal stay option before venturing to visit Waynad or Coorg for holidays. We certainly intend to find another opportunity to visit Green Planet.

Beware of this shady hotel!! My gold & money was stolen from room 311 while I was asleep in the room around midnight on 20/11/19. I've lodged an FIR in Kannur Town Police Station. ISSUES: Damp, smelly & unsafe rooms. Cameras in the gallery DO NOT work. High tarrifs. AC not effective. Dirty linen & towel. Phone in the room do not work. Suffocating tiny lifts. What makes things WORSE – Rude & unsympathetic hotel staff didn't even feel sorry or visit the Police Station with us for reporting the case (after all the robbery took place on their property). In fact, the cunning, arrogant & non-courteous staff that tries to THREATEN me. Icing on the cake: I confronted the MD to discuss the issues, he was only interested in his money. In fact, he tried to offer 50% discount on stay if I removed the online review (from Goibibo). I’d already paid advance Rs.5000 & lost gold + cash worth much more than that, why would I remove the review? I want the whole world to know this is the most unsafe place to spend a night. Had I seen the place before, I’d never had made this mistake of booking this. I haven't seen a worse hotel than this having traveled frequently to various places and stayed at various hotels. If there was an award for the worst Hotel, hands down, they’ll win it!

This Hotel has a super friendly reception desk. The charming ladies are unusually helpful and very attentive. We appreciated that a lot. Another strong point in favor of the Hotel is the nice garden. You can enjoy a cool Kingfisher beer there, but unfortunately not everyday. On certain days they are not allowed to serve alcohol. There is a restaurant inside, but we found it more enjoyable to eat outdoors. Service is quick and the food we had was ok but nothing special. Our room was clean and big enough. Since the Hotel has been refurbished recently, everything was in excellent condition - we particularly liked the well kept woodwork. We will keep a fond memory of the Surya Heritage Hotel and it’s friendly personnel.

We spent one night at the Withinn Hotel before an early morning flight out of the airport. The hotel is very close to the airport, a 5 minute taxi ride (IR300), so very convenient. We had a superior room, which was large, quiet, very clean and comfortable with air conditioning, a kettle and tea supplies and a wide selection of TV channels, the bed very comfortable. The bathroom also very clean, and well equipped. We also ate in the attached restaurant, the food very good with a wide choice, well served and inexpensive. Finally, the staff were welcoming and very helpful, making it a very enjoyable overnight stay. Downsides – the morning shower pressure was low, and the location of the hotel is not conducive to exploring the immediate location, but neither of these points detracted from our stay. Highly recommended for a pre or post flight from Kannur airport.

GGuest UserThe property is well maintained and i perfect balance of nature and modern design. Our stay was amazing. The rooms were well kept and spacious. The sea view form the room is mesmerizing. The staff need a special metion here they are very welcoming and polite and ever helpful. Over all our stay was amazing and we enjoyed every moment of our stay here.

GGuest UserVery well run hotel in central Thalassery, set back from Logans Road on a quiet courtyard. Modern and clean rooms with TV and nice bathrooms. Their Executive Suit rooms are very specious and I would recommend to go for it if budget will suit. The hotel also has a small restaurant serving South Indian meals. I found their breakfast menu as okay but I won't recommend for lunch or dinner because of very limited options. Instead one can find many options just few minutes walk like famous Rara Avis Restaurant, La Affair Restaurant, KFC etc

GGuest UserThe hotel is right at the highway and not far away from payyanur market. The property is well maintained and clean. I felt the breakfast could have been a little better. Because of low occupancy i guess the menu was limited. Highly recommended for a budget stay with family.
