If you're in Kolkata to enjoy the romantic ambiance of a city with real soul, this place is the right establishment, in the right location and has more than reasonable prices. Immaculately kept rooms, helpful but unassuming staff and some lovely little touches (particularly loved the old books and pictures of grandad and great grand dad in the reception) make this a place a real jewel and a nice surprise to end our trip to India with. If you suspect Im exagerating, do yourself a favor and take a chance on it. You'll be glad you did.

Best for weekend vacation.staffs are very helpful.The food was very tasty. Their behaviour to us was like family and not guests.It was a lovely experience. The property is well maintained, neat and tidy. You get amazing view of the lack from the room is amazing. Here we got pool, boating,and ***y more other.happy the visit Creek Club.

I am a little surprised to see negative reviews for this hotel , yes the rooms are a little dated but they were clean and functional and the beds in both rooms I stayed in for a total of 7 nights were very comfortable . The service was super , I did not need to call more than once for anything . The decor is tasteful , very impressed with the photo frames in rooms that depict life in Kolkata . The location is just next to the vibrant Gariahat market , 6 kms away from park Street and there are some really nice eating places located near the hotel . I also ordered via food delivery apps a few nights , the hotel did not have an issue with that . Parking space is restricted though . I am sure the ***agement will renovate rooms in the coming time , I think the hotel is a great choice for this part of Kolkata and cost effective too

the property is at prime location, has its own parking and the rooms are also good . the reception area is also very nice. The room we stayed in supposedly was their superior room , one suggestion plz provide mirror 🪞 in the bathroom , we were in 410. also the morning breakfast was chaotic, there were lot of guests but the support staff was less , lot of rush, if you have so many guests , plz have more staffs so thar everything goes smoothly and guests don't face any inconvenience

It's a nice boutique hotel. located in prime location..room was clean, services were good ,staff was very well behaved. We enjoyed our stay very much.We went to celebrate a birthday party of our friend ,so they offer a cake from their side also.over all we were happy with their services & behaviour.I would love to recommend this hotel to everyone.

GGuest UserOverall..the hotel is within the budget range for a few days stay in Kolkata. The rooms are neat and clean. The view from the 3rd floor non-ac room is somewhat less as it tends to be sideview to the main road. The service is also good as the staff are well mannered.
I would recommend this hotel for anyone coming to Kolkata towards the Dum Dum side.

IIdyllicExcellent stay, and great to meet three musketeers enthusiastically led by Mrs. Chowdhury. Except for dyed grandpa at the reception with an ego of a size you may call not quite ok in the hospitality business and quite preoccupied, but still an interesting guy to talk to a lengthy monologue into his deaf ears who then responds by wielding a trick on how to insult a better person in a subtle ***ner. Five star quality room. Just be careful on the street as a fast and furious car chasing its own tail pipe occurred as I was advising a very strange uber driver. The hotel was professional enough to be courteous and very sweetly invited us back. That is the confidence one wishes to see in the hospitality business.

I don’t know why I chose to stay here. The place is a saddened one, at a place which is so secluded. Let me start from the beginning. I had booked 2 rooms for my family for transit from kolkata to my onward journey and frankly speaking I should have left the hotel at the reception itself but I had already paid them. They do not have any concierge services. You got to carry your luggage to the room. The reception itself is so dampening that you get irritated. They will take at least 15 mins to check you in. Never explained the facility and the inclusions. Just explained that you need to pay for anything that you use. One of the room upgraded to suit but that was not to be called except for the size. There were no towels in the room. The AC made a lot of noise which disturbed the sleep. The bed was uncomfortable and made noise every time you moved. The people are in efficient. A call for clearance did not heed the ears of people for more than 1 hour. Finally I had to clear plates in the room. The hotel lifts were fully not working and they had placed a board saying renovation in progress. The alleys are dirty with water droplets falling here and there. The interior of the room is again a pain to eyes. The floorings were out and sticky.Breakfast buffet which was included in the plan was worthless and did not meet up the 5 star quality. Hardly any choice. Staff in the breakfast area were least bothered for guest comfort, standing at one corner and busy among themselves. The minibar empty.The one thing they were amazing on calling at 10.30 am for letting you know about you check out time. I seriously feel if it was a 5 star hotel or a lodge. I would request the people to be very cautious in choosing this place. There are better properties around. A place better to avoid.

I had a visa appointment early morning, so i had requested a room in the top floor, which was calm and quiet enabling me to have a nice rest. The free breakfast was filling too. And they were kind enough to hold my luggage while i roamed the city for 3 hours.

I was greeted with lots of smiles, very friendly accommodating staff who helped me with everything I needed. I ate and drank at the bar. Everything was delicious. The room was very comfortable stocked with everything you need. Great view of their beautiful pool. It was closed for maintenance so I couldn’t try it. They made me feel like family. I highly recommend this hotel when you want to stay close to the airport in Kolkata. Thank you for everything!

SSheda11This is a highly modernistic complex with lots to see and do. The entrance gate brings you into a well-tended garden with pools and animated sculptures driven by water. A cable-car ride takes visitors over the whole complex. One of the buildings, dealing with life sciences, was not open, but in the time we had we got to see plenty. We visited the space and technology building and found the displays extremely informative and well put together. The demonstrations of physics and mechanics using hands-on installations were a lot of fun, and informative too. One great surprise was an up-to-the-day exhibition of the Corona virus, which in mid-February was only just revealing its potential as a pandemic. There were two staff posted at the display to answer questions. This exhibit alone indicated to us the devotion and interest of the museum staff. The upper part of the building was laid out in a descending spiral where the exhibits were based on powers of 10 - magnifying upwards to the entire universe and downwards to the sub-atomic world. We can highly recommend Science City and hope that the building we couldn't visit will soon be open

But I am very happy to have the opportunity to come in, just share it with you. The interior of the castle is very clean, there is music released from the broadcast speaker, very soothing. The castle is an octagonal building, the surrounding river is beautiful, this visit gives me a good feeling.
