Arrived to a lovely welcome. Fantastic setting away from the bustle of Sorrento There’s a shuttle bus every hound back to a central location easy to use and reliable. Our room was superb ( we were upgraded to a balcony room overlooking the Gulf of Napoli fabulous. The food was amazing every day We were half board ( we did go into sorrento a couple of times at night) varied choices and a couple of special menu nights - we ate so much. The bar menu is superb too Special absolute mention must go to the staff. Reception. Dining room. Housekeeping. Bar. Pool area ( two lovely chaps one Scottish one Italian really couldn’t be more helpful. None of the 5am throw a towel down nonsense ) this was probably our best ever holiday in all the years we’ve traveled. I wouldn’t take in any negative reviews on TA for this property as those folk probably would complain no matter where they were The view from our room was spectacular Thank you Aminta We will definitely return ( room 318 )

Having stayed in Sorrento more than 20 times this was our first stay at this hotel. It’s in an ideal location, fantastic views from the restaurant and from the roof top bar watching the sunset . We had a beautiful garden room,spotlessly clean, stylish and modern,comfortable bed. Breakfast was a fabulous continental, pastries to die for plus scrambled egg and bacon. Such a shame they don’t do an evening meal with such a beautiful vista. Reception always helpful especially Gianluca who goes above and beyond. Definitely intend to return to this gem of a hotel, will recommend to family and friends ( not to many or might not be able to get a room ourselves) Pool and garden area lovely with comfortable seating, pool bar service good and the gnocchi was delicious served by the lovely Italiana.

The room faces the sea, the service is very thoughtful and trustworthy, especially the breakfast restaurant with a first-line sea view, authentic ingredients and updated dishes every day!

We are a multigenerational family of 11 who stayed at the Hotel Continental for 5 nights in August 2024. The location is first rate in the old town ,perched atop a cliff. We recommend the rooms with a view of the bay of Naples and Mt. Vesuvius- absolutely stunning ! The buffet breakfast was wonderful, with delightful staff led by Antonio, as we sat in a gloriously big room drinking a cappuccino with a croissant ,donuts, eggs and prosciutto. The rooms were spacious and clean, with an Italian lemon theme chic decor, all about 5 minutes from the town center .The front desk staff ,led by Veronica ( who we booked with ), and Tonio, were very professional and friendly. We believe this upper mid range hotel is a great value, and love the old time glamour of jackets and tuxes of the staff. The rooftop bar is wonderful, and the pool was large, with plenty of chairs. Our favorite ”pinch me ” moment was descending down the elevator to Leonelli's Beach. You get off the elevator and proceed to the beach through a cave carved out of the mountain. My granddaughter asked me if we were in a James Bond movie .Lots of fun at Leonelli's Beach, although you pay for the chairs and umbrellas. We were sad to have our La Dolce Vita adventure end, but it was time to go, and so our family's magical journey continued to Rome.

What a sweet and unusual hotel in a busy little tourist city! From the staff that get to know your name on the first day, to helping with extra needs, we had the best customer care while at the Grand Hotel La Favorita. It's location is ideal, close to great dining and shopping and don't miss their sister restaurant a few blocks away! It's a hidden gem on the main walking/shopping street. It's like a magical garden with fantastic food and more great service. We did talk to a few others who said they get very crowded so dining earlier guarantees better service. Lastly, do'nt miss the rooftop bar with a beautiful sunset!

We stayed for 5 nights at the Grand Royal. The service, ambience and accommodations made this the most memorable trip of our lives. The landscaping is breathtaking. The guest rooms were clean and comfortable. Our sea view terrace was gorgeous. Enjoying the private beach was our favorite day time activity and the tunnel walk down to the beach is magical. The location was perfect - close walk to local restaurants and the ferry. We would like to extend special thanks to Mauro, Paolo, and Florenza for their outstanding hospitality. The gentleman at the beach club was also amazing (I didn’t catch his name). We had family staying at a different hotel nearby paying the same rate as us and their experience was far from as nice as ours. We will all stay at the Grand Royal next time. Thank you all! ❤️❤️❤️

We loved this hotel and location a lot. Our first trip to Sorrento and my partner proposed on a private boat trip in Amalfi so the hotel holds a special place in our hearts. It’s peaceful, the staff are wonderful, food and drinks are very good. Views over the water to Naples are beautiful especially during sunset. The room was gorgeous. The beach bar and loungers by the sea were so peaceful with more lovely views over to the port. Big comfy loungers, massive pool, great service there. We would love to come back next year. We booked a pick up from Naples airport to the hotel via reception for easiness and it was great and quicker than expected. Our room was ready early. The only tiny tiny thing I’d say is a welcome drink would be fab especially for a 5 star hotel, and water topped up more regularly in the rooms but I won’t knock down a star for my thoughts ❤️

We found this hotel after reading reviews as we wanted a sea view but easy access to the town. What a superb place, free upgrade, great breakfast options, front desk was wonderful and helped with everything including advice on things to do, taxis and printing tickets. Just the right distance to get into town, further up the hill would be too far. Rooms incredibly clean and great bed. Loved it and highly recommend
