"Very disappointed with the buffet standard as compared to my 2023 visit. The food selection is below average. TV stations all in JAPANESS, there is not consideration for international guest. Shampoo is near empty and no top up and look very uncalled for as a 5 star hotel. No housekeeping for guest staying for 2 days. Most of the staffs couldn't speak English and making communication very tough. Bell boy welcoming us are very friendly"

"Hotel located next to JR station. Surrendered we restaurants and convenience store just opposite. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel room is very spacious compared to to most hotel in Japan."

"Fantastic Onsen hotel..located on the hill top, all rooms assigned overlooking into the OKHOTSK SEA, with huge room and shower room are separated from the WC. The hotel provide a shuttle bus from UTORO ONSEN BUS TERMINAL and will pick up guests from here. Another good point is,there is a Airport Bus Liner which comes direct to the hotel to pick guestyfor drop off at Shiretoko Shari Bus terminal enroute to Mambabetsu Airport. The breakfast is really yummy with lots of spread however the buffet dinner is average and the same spread for the two nites I stayed. Where else the ONSEN, I would give a 4/5. Another good point to note is those coming by train to Shiretoko Shari station, opposite is the Shari Bus terminal which provides transer to the UTORO ONSEN BUS TERMINAL.in about 50 mins. Overall Shireto Daiichi Hotel is a big luxurious hotel and they provide shuttle for onwards bus transfer to the SHIRETOKO NATURE PARK which is so beautiful to wander out to seek nature's awesomeness."

"屋根有り駐輪場は、バイク３台しか停められない 早い者勝ちで、満車の場合は青空駐車場になります ※青空駐車場が広いから安心して下さい ドミトリーですが、仕切りカーテンの他に引き戸(鍵有り) 枕元にコンセント有り コンビニまで徒歩15～20分ぐらい 同じ場所にレストラン有り 鹿肉とか知床牛ステーキも悩んだが、 土鍋ハンバーグは文句無しの旨さ 人参が真ん中まで煮込んでて美味しい 味噌汁(白味噌)も美味しかったです シャワー室が４つ有りました シャンプーリンスボディシャンプーあります 受付横に喫煙所有り 外に自販機あります、限定コーヒー？美味しいっスね 天まで続く道沿いです"

"Absolutely loved everything about this place! I stayed overnight with my friend and her family. Yuta (owner's son) and his mother went above and beyond to give us spectacular experience! Food was top quality, facility was extremely clean, Onsen water was so silky, delicious Gelato and good opportunity to try varieties of Japanese alcohol. This place made our visit to Hokkaido extra special. Thank you for taking good care of us and spending quality time with Matthew! He adores you!! ps. Ask Yuta to make Esther's secret menu: pistachio affragato 😀"

"The hotel is located a 20-minute walk from the bus stop. Although it’s a hostel, the room is spacious and includes a safe and a refrigerator. The bedding is clean. There’s no shower in the room, as this is an onsen-style hotel. There’s no kettle in the room either — a shared one is available on the first floor in a small kitchen equipped with a stove and a microwave. The only downside is the absence of a water cooler or filter for drinking water. You have to buy bottled water from a vending machine and pour it into the shared kettle. The view from the window is stunning. The air conditioner is AI-powered — it even talks 😁"

"We love the ambience and everything about the hotel! Furnishing are very carefully and intentionally designed, really appreciated the overall cozyness we felt during our stay. Sadly we had to give the bathhouse a miss due to our schedule, but we enjoyed our stay regardless. The only confusion we had was the check in/check out timing — the hotel page says check out is 11am, but we got a phone call at 10am telling us we’ve exceeded the check out timing. Page also mentions check in by 6pm, but we were only able to arrive at 9pm+ due to our flight and car rental processes, hence we checked in multiple times with the hotel. They were kind enough to assure us to drive safely as we can check in any time."

"酋長之家是我沒訂到那天kiki的候選，卻意外再次體驗了一次當地人生活，17年去富良野那裡體驗過一次，要自己鋪床，這次倒是不用，可是我媽不喜歡，因為房間沒廁所，要去外面上以及沒有空調，洗手枱放的水是銹的，我倒是對於民宿沒那麼多講究，因為它便宜，被子厚沒空調也不冷，我訂的四人房，實在不夠再蓋一層，最大的問題是水，找前台的一個長者家，帶我去了另外一個洗手枱還是不行，我也懶得搞了，直接自動販賣機裏買了3大瓶水，夠用了。它家的餐食很有當地特色，也很好吃。雖然硬件施捨不行，但是老闆和老闆娘真的是好人，我第二天去kiki不太方便，老闆娘看我困難，開車送我上去，真的是大好人，解我燃眉之急。"
