Close to Songtan US military base, next to a bar and restaurant street serving the US military, 500 meters away from the subway station, quite convenient. The hotel facilities are relatively old, and most of the guests are family members or related personnel of the US military, all of whom speak fluent American English. The breakfast is not the kind of self-selection in star hotels, but a small amount of self-selection with ordering. There is no freshly ground coffee machine, and the pot feels like instant brew, so just drink it. The waiters are relatively old, and there are four old men taking turns at the front desk, which is not easy.

Not a bad hotel but nothing great as well. Came as business trip. Room is simple, and room service was done everyday with wet towels replaced. Free water n free beverages to be refilled everyday. You can get extra water in the lobby too. Cons, only 2 hangers and no wardrobe. No place to hang clothes. No curtain at the bathtub so the whole toilet would be wet after you showered. A desktop computer is provided but is in Korean language so not much use for foreigners if you don't understand Korean. Maybe a cheap choice for locals but not so friendly for foreigners because even front desk can't speak English as well.

WWanderer30861157447We stayed for 8 nights at this hotel while visiting our son, who is stationed at Camp Humphreys. Let me start the review by saying the couple who run this hotel are the sweetest and most helpful people. If the review was based solely on hospitality, this would definitely be a 5-star. I gave 4-stars for a few amenities that were missing, and might have been nice to have. Every day our 5th floor room was cleaned, and towels and basics were replaced. The hotel is secure, clean, quiet and safe, and most importantly was within walking distance of the off-base apartment where my son lives. There are a few things to note - first, there are no silverware or plastic drinking cups provided in the room, only small paper cups for tea, coffee. There is an electric hotpot for water, teabags and instant coffee, plus Pepsi and a canned sweetened coffee drink that is replaced daily. Our room had a computer (did not use), fridge and washing machine, plus a stove that we could not use due to the type of room we booked. The washing machine was a bit tricky to run as all directions were in Korean, but we used a translator and it worked fine. There is a drying rack, but no dryer and also no shower curtain in bathroom, just a drain in the floor. Both of these are fairly typical for the area. The layout of the room is a bit tight, with the queen-sized bed against the wall where the mini-split is installed. It was difficult to get the temperature just right as the cold air would blow right toward the bed. In addition, as another reviewer mentioned, no top sheet on the bed. Ultimately this was not an issue, and most days we were so tired that we did not really even notice this. The area has several decent coffee shops and restaurants, all within walking distance, and the 3-8 Market is just outside the back of the hotel, held on days ending with ”3” or ”8”. We needed a taxi back to Incheon airport, and the owner graciously got the taxi for us, and the cost was determined ahead of time, 95,000 won (about 72 US dollars). If you are looking for an inexpensive, clean and safe hotel near Camp Humphreys, this is a great option. We really enjoyed our stay, especially the service and hospitality.

Service: There is no service, the front desk does not need to check the registration for check-in, check the name and give the room card
Hygiene: Hygiene is OK, but no one cleaned the next day after staying for two nights. Do you need to inform? I don't know, I don't understand Korean
Facilities: There is a clothing care machine, but there is no washing machine. The toilet is smart and the bathroom has no door.

Hal yang kurang menyenangkan adalah saya memesan kamar bebas rokok, namun di seluruh ruangan tercium aroma rokok, bahkan di tempat tidur dan bantal. Hal ini membuat saya merasa tidak nyaman. Di bagian kamar mandi ada kebocoran pada bidet di bawah wastafel yang perlu diperbaiki karena air memancar.
