Reviewing ”Bali Sea View Residences Melaka by Stayrene” Breathtaking views of the sea from this particular apartment. Tidy, well done up apartment with sparkling white linen and towels. 2-bedrooms, one with a king bed and an another cozy room with two double mattresses, so good for up to 6 people family. Free to use pool and another play pool with slides for kids. A bit far from Melaka Central or Jonker Street but still recommended for the views and the apartment itself.

Misleading advertisement. Owner of properties should update on facilities that not working on ie swimming pool(under maintainence). Jika korang nak bawa anak2 jangan book sini, pool dah lama repair katanya tapi belum siap. Playground kecik dan xcantik. Xbest langsung. Anak2 bosan tak boleh buat apa aktiviti. Harga pun mahal xberbaloi. Takkan repeat sini dah.

GGuest UserBooked via Trip.Com, I did not know the room was a family suite which was actually a heritage house opposite to the main hotel block. Interesting to have a nostalgic experience to stay in an traditional house but might be a little too quiet for solo travellers. Need to climb the stairs as the bed and the washroom/pantry are on different floors. Staff was friendly and the house was spotless clean. Another plus is the strong air con in the house against the crazy heat in Malacca.

I love this hotel and definitely will come back again to stay in this hotel. I love their design of their rooms too. Very comfortable and have lot of places to put our things in organised way. They have a small fridge in the hotel. Most importantly, lot of foods and restaurants nearby. They have a cafe and 711 next door so convenient and superb. Thank you Asiatic Hotel for your hospitality and definitely will come back again to stay in this hotel.

GGuest UserFor sheer location, this hotel is hard to beat, being located at the beginning of the two best heritage streets in Malacca. Being an old building, there are limitations but it's all modern inside. It's a medium tier hotel with small rooms. The bathroom was tiny, and walls are thin so you can hear noises from adjacent rooms. Room was clean and reasonably well equipped with clean sheets, brightly lit within but wire frame wardrobe. Lobby area is basic, and there's no hotel parking as it opens directly onto the road. Best for a short stay in Malacca where convenient location for sightseeing is the main criterion. For a longer, luxurious stay, look elsewhere.

Eesquire838From the sweltering heat of the lobby to sp**** staffing, everything says “we only wish we are a 5-star but...”. Mudzaffar looks like they are a hotel training academy specialising in aiming at generating as many as guest complaints as they can possibly get. What they actually do with the complaints is anyone’s guess: probably classify them under OSA. These are the training areas that we experienced: 1. Air-conditioning in lobby not functioning. Probably for vocational trainees under find the cause. Or for finance officers on how to brutally reduce cost. 2. Inadequate staff to handle concierge. Designed for managers who can see the effects 3. Shops not opened. For time management trainees to see relationship between opening hours and revenue 4. Toilet with no hand drying facilities. For maintenance staff is and why the floor and door knobs are wet 5. Late check in: Staff learning to admit guests strictly at 3pm check in time despite hotel near empty on Sunday at 2:00pm 6. Slip shod construction. Meant for building students to see how to frustrate a 5-star claim 7. Room: 2 pillows for a double bed. Not even one extra in the cupboard. TV no reception until a few hours passed by. Room painted, no wall paper. Shower water pressure low. They give only one key card. All for trainees to evaluate the savings made. 8. Upon reaching the room there were 4 plates left by previous guest by the door. When we came back from dinner at 9pm, they were still there. Called reception and they casually replied “we will send someone to clear them” unperturbed by what happened. That off the cuff reply proves training works at this Academy. In all the Mudzaffar Hotel Training Academy is highly recommended for those who are into the academics. Not for a real hotel guest with out of norm expectations of staying in a hotel for comfort and rest.

CConnoisseur2012The hotel is across the road from the beach and the Melaka Straits. Whilst not recently refurbished the family room we were allocated was in reasonable condition and clean. The room was not carpeted but this possibly made it easier to keep clean. We arrived late in the evening but even at this time the staff were friendly and efficient. The only issue we had was the whilst breakfast was included in the price, we booked a room for two adults and two children and ended up having to pay an additional sum for two more breakfasts.

At exactly 1-2am in midgnight i could hear agressive violence between a man and a women, literally stomping feet , running falling here and there crying and screaming to the top of the voice, in the morning we asked the receptionist while checking out whats the sound upstairs, then they told us there is nobody in 2nd floor, i could hear chants of a man crying etc etc. But I seriously think this place is *******. Or somone is doing sorcery there.
