High-end hotel. The room is large and the facilities are new and the living is very comfortable. The front desk is very good. Because there are various activities in the hotel from time to time, there are more people coming and going. I don't know why the room suddenly broadcast loudly in the early morning of the middle of the night, we can't understand it, broadcast three times. Parking for in-house guests is free.

The room was exceptionally small. There was approximately one foot between the bed and the wall on one side and two feet on the side closest to the bathroom. The bathroom door could not open completely. The bathroom was similarly scaled. If you were sitting on the commode your knees were under the sink. If you were at the sink, you’d better have the shower open because your elbows were in the shower. At the foot of the bed there was about 1 meter of space to the wall. This we completely consumed by the two suitcases and two daypacks. There was significant road noise audible in the room. There is a small elevator usable to access the first and second floors. If your room number is in the 3xx series, you will have to hand carry your bags up the final two flights of stairs. One exceptional amenity, they were one of the few hotels in Europe, that we’ve encountered, providing wash cloths. The restaurant menu was uninspired. We like to patronize the place where we are staying but we'd have done better going into the village. All in all nothing terrible but we left feeling the experience was not balanced by the cost.

Whilst am a solo traveller, I was part of an organised tour. The hotel exceeded any expectations! It was very nice indeed!! Impressive! Large, extremely well appointed, comfortable bedrooms and the public areas are quite magnificent! The staff were professional and friendly. Breakfast was lovely - lots of choice. Our dinner was set as we were in a group. I found it a little odd that no choice was offered but the food was ok for me. Independent travellers I'm sure, have a different experience. All in all a very enjoyable stay.
Below is an email I sent to the hotel itself, and to head office of the Fletcher Group. Not an apology, or even a reply. Guests at this hotel are treated like Euros. Put them in the till and forget who gave them, or that any service is required for those Euros. To Whom It May Concern, I wish to express my deep disappointment regarding my recent stay at the Fletcher Hotel in Oss, from Saturday, 25th November to Monday, 27th November. This marked my second visit to your hotel, as I previously stayed in November 2022. Our group of 40 adults and children from Northern Ireland came for a local Taekwondo competition, and while your rooms are commendable, the conduct of your staff during this visit was utterly disappointing. The discourteous behaviour began on Saturday night when I inquired about the closing time of the bar. Your staff assured me it would close at 11 pm. However, at 10 pm, as we were enjoying ourselves, one of our group approached the bar to order drinks, only to be abruptly told that the bar was closed. A few minutes later your night porter arrived telling us to drink up and leave. He done this in a very aggressive and rude manner. Some in our group were Dutch and they were able to translate what he said. They queried “Have we done something wrong?” He replied, waving his arms around telling us this wasn’t up for discussion. It left us all feeling confused and upset. It would have been more acceptable had he politely requested that we finish up due to closing time, but instead, he adopted a hostile attitude completely unbecoming of a hospitality establishment. The unpleasant encounters continued on Sunday night when we returned from the competition around 9 pm to find the restaurant and bar already closed. We opted to order pizza and have drinks delivered to the hotel. To our relief, your receptionist opened the restaurant so we could dine comfortably. However, once again, your Night Porter intervened, this time accusing me of treating the reception like a fast-food joint, and in a humiliating tone, asked if we thought we owned the place. A simple request to relocate to our rooms would have sufficed, but he chose a confrontational approach, leaving me standing outside the hotel in the rain to finish my beer. His behaviour escalated as he confronted parents and children in the restaurant, giving them an ultimatum to finish their meals and leave within 8 minutes. His discourteous manner left children frightened and parents deeply uncomfortable. Having travelled to numerous competitions across Holland over the past 7 years, I have never encountered such a lack of hospitality as I did at your hotel this weekend. Your staff appeared unhelpful, treating us as a burden rather than valued guests. With 40 guests, your hotel could have greatly benefited financially and would have more if the bar and restaurant had remained open. Regrettably, due to the limited hotel options in Oss, we may find ourselves compelled to stay at your establis
+Location is perfectly situated on hiking area / Utrechtse Heuvelrug. +Hotel & room clean. - Breakfast basic / limited choice (eg no fresh fruit salad but just an apple or kiwi and toppings: good but very simple /) expected more choice for 4 * -Bath: Could not take a bath, water did not get hot. CV appeared to have quirks. +Neatly handled by the hotel. +Receptionists very friendly / helpful - food We had booked half board and therefore incl 51 € voucher food at Bosrestaurant Overberg (if you eat or drink for more than you pay extra) - portion of salmon steak and fries a bit frugal + my salmon and sirloin steak very tasty - my husband's food was a turn-off, . - returned carpaccio (because of ant) And returned the richly filled fish stew because there was a complete lack of fish. Eventually we chose another dish (schnitzel) but it was served without any accessories (fries and salad). So my husband had no choice but to settle for my cold leftover fries (I had already finished eating) - the chef: we asked to speak to the chef but he did not show up at our table, he preferred to go outside and curse instead of apologizing. The assistant chef eventually came to tell us that the chef had forgotten the fish and that something had indeed gone wrong. He offered us a dessert on the house but our dinner was such a disappointment that we declined. The next morning the receptionist waived the “entire” bill for the dinner, which amounted to the drinks and starters, since we had already paid €51 in advance in our hotel rate/half board, + but it is the gesture that counts and the compensation was a band-aid and we appreciate it
