Location is wonderful, and so is the whole building and surroundings. But comparing price/quality there is really something missing. We spent 3 nights in weekend High season, but there was no management at all.We had to wait more than 3 hours before we could have our room, although we send a mail to ask for an earlier check in than 16.00. Not possible, we have to waited till 16.15 . We have been in many 5 stars places all over the world, but never had this situation. Thanks to Mr Joao de Sousa we we're calm down. He treated and helped us later with everything, and that made our stay good. Our superior terras room was located perfect, clean and cool, but the decoration is for that price some dated. The bathroom very small and not really comfortable. In the adults pool only three umbrellas, to protect all the guests from the sun. sunbeds we're not very clean, and the pool towels, is really not done, in a 5 star Hotel member of the Leading hotels of the world. The quality of the breakfast was 3 stars, only 2 sorts of unripe fruit, and no fresh bread at all. We have had diner several times, at the fantastic Terras outside, but please put mores covering to protect people for the extreme sunburning. quality of the food was good, specially my fish was perfect prepared, and again I say, the very kind service of Mr Joao, David, and several other members of the restaurant was really touching. They did their job more than fantastic. So overall, the place has so many strong assets, location, building, history, surroundings, but some for us important details we're missing, and the feeling that there was no management to talk with, but the location is Portugal on it's best! What a spectacular hotel, from staff to space! Hot space with modern air and parking directly to the lift! I recommend enormous No defects, the room was super nice and space full of light and with a spectacular sea view

The hotel is extremely lovely. The staff have been absolutely fabulous. I can’t say enough good things about them. They’re absolute great people. They all go out of their way to please you which is awesome. The surroundings it’s not too bad it’s walkable, but just be aware. However, I will admit I went to the mall had a great time. This is a really nice place and the rooms are fabulous. I definitely recommend this hotel.😎👍

Spectacular view , spacious and beautiful house .

One of my favorite hotels in one of my favorite beach. Although not new anymore and you can see it, very friendly staff, very good breakfast and very nice and clean rooms. The room with the jacuzzi in the balcony is just a delight

Excelente apartamento, por um preço bem razoável. O apartamento tem tudo o que é necessário para passar 5 ou 7 dias. Uma sala ampla com kitchenette, varanda com uma mesa e cadeiras com vista para a marina, televisão por cabo com uma excelente imagem duma TV LG de 55 polegadas OLED. Quarto excelente, cama bem espaçosa, colchão perfeito. Toda a casa tem ar condicionado e WI-FI. Por fim o carro fica estacionado numa espaçosa garagem subterrânea do prédio. Apenas chamo a atenção que a imagem que o sistema coloca destes apartamentos, não corresponde à realidade. O nome correto destes apartamentos é ”Troia Residence - Apartamentos Marina”, situado na rua da Aroeira, na rua da GNR.

Spacious and pleasant apartments, near the small sea, fantastic beach, children's park shown in the images inexistent, timetable of the single supermarket in the resort reduced, weak wifi network, few activities to perform around, as it is a resort could give access to activities in other units such as access to swimming pools. The indoor pool continues to be closed since the pandemic, in its absence, it should be possible to access the other pool of the resort as it happens with breakfast. The beach is the greatest advantage because it is wonderful but for a few days because the complex is very small, good for a relaxing weekend.

set in a good location for exploring what setubal has to offer,you will be met by friendly and helpful staff that are not only willing to help and advise,you also get a complimentary drink and map of setubal which turned out to be helpful. there is no lift but staff are more than willing to help if you want. my room was on a corner and large,bright,had high ceilings and designed very tastefully and had a t.v,air-con,mini fridge,free safety deposit box,bottled water,coffee machine and i got a free bottle of wine,throw in good storage space and a modern bathroom with a great shower and this hotel has a lot going for it and one i wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
