This price is relatively cost-effective in Seychelles. It is not close to the airport and the center of Victoria, more than ten kilometers away. There is a beach across the road and the shallow sea is full of seaweed. If it's nearby, the small shop downstairs of the hotel is clean and reasonably priced. The street next to it is full of shabby shops with very high prices. What makes me unhappy is that if you want to send videos and photos via the hotel Wi-Fi, there is a charge, 300 rupees a night, 150 rupees a night. When I first asked, they said it was free, but in fact it was just the most basic free package involving photos and videos. Just ask for extra money. Anyway, everything in this place is expensive! In addition, it is the rainy season, so the sheets always feel noisy and there is a faint smell. Overall, it's just average. I won't stay there next time!

This apartment was almost perfect! My husband and I were super impressed with the contemporary design and decor, the location being a very short walk to the stunning beach, and the early check-in and late checkout were key for us. Christine at the front desk was amazing. The entire building was spotless and the apartment had everything we needed, except for the stingy pillows and towels. I have to take a star away for that. Only one pillow each on the bed (and no extras in the room), one hand towel for both of us to share, and no face cloths. This is a minor issue for some, but I would advise anyone that needs 2 pillows like me to request that when checking in, so you don't have to use the couch cushions like we did.

Симпатичные апартаменты. Все аккуратно, довольно компактно, если сравнивать с пятью разными апартаментами до этого отеля. Но оооочень влажно и душно. И совершенно не продумана история с дверью в туалет. Когда лежишь на кровати, которая находится прям рядом с дверью, в общем-то в щели видишь все действия сидящего на туалете) Ну и близость к воде: искупаться вы не сможете, вода мутновата и грязновата. Зато бесплатно дают каяки. В России это очень популярный отель, я знаю что забронировать место здесь очень сложно, для меня это было как навязчивая идея) Но на деле оказалось, что это не плохие апартаменты, но не стоят того что бы за них биться)

We stayed at Canopy for our honeymoon in September/ October and this was the best decision we made. Brand new hotel with amazing facilities and located on our favourite part of the island. The friendliest staff (a BIG shoutout to chef André, Bram, Ashveena, Bruno and Michal) and the comfiest room with a nice terrace and the most magical view. Restaurant Avocet always had the best food at breakfast and dinner. The transfer lounge is also a big plus since our flight was late. The fact that the hotel also has entertainment almost everyday is very good and can make all of your nights there feel special. Also, the beach is amazing, being completely diferent in the mornings and afternoons due to the tides but always special in its own way. You will find several activities to do there. Bram, a special thank you to you. You were unstoppable. Always on top of everything and making sure we were having the best time. We will never be able to thank you enough. Ashveena, thank you for all your help and support. You were always there for us and made everything feel easy and possible, if when we thought it could not happen. Despite the amazing reviews of this location, I was a bit sceptical of what I might find. But from the moment I drove up the hill into the property, I knew I had truly arrived paradise. I stayed for 4 nights in villa 9 at the far end of the property which had a hammock, and the views from atop this place are amazing, especially at sunrise and sunset. Down the hill and across the road, is a scenic entrance to one of the many public beaches spread across the island. I should have explored it more though. I enjoyed the few walks and the many drives I made from the residence to some amenities. I loved the antique feel of the house, and I was amazed by its matching level of functionality, although the kitchen was lacking a few utensils for effective cooking. I enjoyed my dinner on the terrace a lot, soaking in the cool breeze from the sea. The host Mayna was helpful with some recommendations, even though my initial payment to confirm my booking was mixed up somehow, and I ended up spending additional time at the airport trying to sort that all out. They have a library where you can borrow books to read from too. If I ever returned to the island for a longer stay, I'll love to stay at La Residence again.
