Good location, 10 minutes from city center. Free big parking, very convenient for a hotel in Maribor. Acceptable price. Small rooms, I was surprised by the old TV in the room (20 years old :)). Breakfsat OK for a for a three star hotel. Nice amiable staff. We will come back if we visit Maribor in the future.

There were some issues, one partially, but reasonably resolved, the 2nd was not. I decided it was best to leave one day early. I contacted the Manager and he told me that his head office had agreed to refund my unused day. I have 2 emails where he stated clearly that his would happen. He was dishonest and this did not happen. If there are no issues, you will probably find the facility reasonably comfortable, but if there is issues my experience is that the Manager will flat out lie to you.
One other issue is that when you contact a property through Expedia, they typically will not respond. If that had happened, I could have cancelled the booking for something that met my needs and avoided writing a poor review.

The room was comfy, not overly spaceous, but not too cramped either. We had the deluxe room with balcony, it is perfect for sharing a wine. The view is great, although disturbed by some industrial buildings. Breakfast is nothing fancy, but good quality, it’s worth the price.

Hotel is near the city center. This is a large building badly organized; from the reception, we go down the stairs to take the elevator up to the room. Breakfast hidden on the fifth floor, no information where to go. Breakfast tasty. Ugly room with a dark window that cannot be opened. Bathroom clean. We were only one night but in such a room I would not like to stay longer.

I’ve stayed at this hotel years ago, and since then it has gone through a renovation. Stayed here for three nights while visiting family in Maribor. The front desk staff are great - the night of my arrival, the receptionist was waiting for me! Rooms are basic but have everything that you need. Note, the shower pressure which is usually something I complain about in hotels was fantastic! Lots of power ports, etc, but the room did not have a desk if you would like to work from the room. Breakfast was awesome and had more than enough variety for most. I’m an extremely light sleeper so I found some noise did carry through the hotel, but I find that in most places. The only complaint I would have is that the cost of parking was slightly high for Maribor.

GGuest UserThere were some issues, one partially, but reasonably resolved, the 2nd was not. I decided it was best to leave one day early. I contacted the Manager and he told me that his head office had agreed to refund my unused day. I have 2 emails where he stated clearly that his would happen. He was dishonest and this did not happen. If there are no issues, you will probably find the facility reasonably comfortable, but if there is issues my experience is that the Manager will flat out lie to you.
One other issue is that when you contact a property through Expedia, they typically will not respond. If that had happened, I could have cancelled the booking for something that met my needs and avoided writing a poor review.

Lliangyuan220It is right in the old town. If you drive, don't follow the GPS or the phone, it will get you around but not on the right street. Tried both. Just follow the instruction from the hotel and the blue signs pointing to the hotel, everywhere. You need to go through the lift up barricades, typical for European cities. Parking onsite, 13 euors. Hotel is very nice, but has two wings one for the hotel and one for the Hostel. It is very clean, the room looks small because the bed is big, thanks God. Washroom is good, good shower with lots of pressure and volume. Staff is excellent, breakfast is good, typical. See my pictures. I fully recommend this hotel.

GGuest UserThe location of the hostel is perfect and we got a place in the tiny parking lot because it was January. Breakfast was excellent, the staff was kind and helpful, the room is sufficiently comfortable. The only shortcoming was the strong smell coming from the falafel buffet in the street below. It was everywhere, even in our room. I assume they don't have any filtration equipment at all.
