Awful hotel….especially considering they robbed my for $133.10… No carts had to haul stuff to second floor Told front desk upon arrival that I checked in early online to get a good room, he said, I’m lucky I didn’t get an adjacent room…I had brought food that was on ice frozen that I needed to get in hotel freezer or ice cold fridge, it was broke..no knobs for thermometer, broke off…guy sent mechanic up and he offered to replace ( probably with more junk) I told him it was 11pm, and didn’t want to lose more sleep waiting and would take it up with corporate….had a cooler and packed with ice but everything thawed by morning… Bed mattress old pillow top, lumpy and horribleness spongy , worn out..leaned to right side…Finally fell asleep by 12, up at 2pm..mattress and smell in room bad musty and old dirt…got up to pee, bathroom floor was sticky…my feet started getting hot when I got back to bed… Unbelievable, no hot water next morning at 7am… Bad old musty smell through hotel including elevator No carts Breakfast awful…sausage greasy…turkey sausage hard as a rock. Old from past days, should have been through in trash…coffee bitter and upset my stomach…told front desk upon check out, was told to call manager Monday when he’s available…I will write reviews on this hotel until they are exposed for exactly what they are…

The location was great. Grocery and fast food all around. Close to the person we visited and the activities we were involved in. But that’s it. After traveling all day and needing a shower before a dinner event, I found myself in a shower with little shampoo left and no conditioner at all. I would think those would be refilled for each new guest. Guess not! Luckily I noticed before I washed my hair as it would have been a disaster if I had not been able to condition it. I stopped at the desk and asked for my room to be replenished and for more pillows. The lady was super nice and said it would be taken care of. I came back to find nothing had been done. I was given some conditioner by a family member I visited “just in case”. So I was ok the next morning except I didn’t sleep well because the bed was as hard as a rock. But then I went down for breakfast and found most things were empty and what wasn’t looked very unappealing. I had some of the poor tasting coffee and juice that tasted like it had artificial sweetener in it. Dumped both of those and hit McDonalds instead. I mentioned to the same nice lady at the desk that I did not get anything I asked for and that my family was joining me that day so I really needed shampoo, conditioner and more pillows. She said she would personally take care of it. And she did! So she did great when the cleaning staff failed twice. They failed a third time when they didn’t clean our room on the “every other day” schedule we were told they provided . So I had to ask for clean towels. I found the room layout and furniture to be very functional. The hooks on the wall were great for the girls to put their purses and sweaters on. We enjoyed the pool until people started smoking out there and brought their dogs in the pool. Then there was poop in the pool. Not sure if it was the dogs or the bunch of wild children in there. Breakfast didn’t improve so that was disappointing…

I’m guessing there are staffing issues. There’s NO hot breakfast - you have to go to the front desk to get a paper bag with yogurt, oj, and fruit cup. Packaged muffins and coffee were self serve. But there were no signs and no warning in the reservation that this was the only option. I would not have booked there if I’d known and feel like we didn’t get what we paid for. We are on a 16 hour road trip and wanted to start the day with a hot breakfast. The 4 th floor is under renovation as well… doesn’t affect the rooms - just the halls that I could see, but during the week I’m guessing there’d be work going on. The beds were clean and comfortable, but shower curtain is old and stained; floors had trash here and there; phone didn’t work at all (found out when I tried to call the desk to report people arguing loudly in the hallway at 3am); and someone had smoked since the bathroom reeked of smoke. I will say that Justice at the desk was very busy all by himself at 8pm check in but quietly friendly; Matt (maintenance) came and sprayed the bathroom (although it didn’t last). I think the bathroom will need to be scrubbed from floor to ceiling to get the stench away (burn marks on toilet too). So frustrated at inconsiderate people!! The woman at the desk in the morning must have gotten an earful - I don’t fault them for noisy guests. Expected much better from Marriott.

A great replacement for a bad hotel down the road. I had a reservation at the Fairfied on Blarney. I arrived to a loud and rowdy gathering in the parking lot. I immediately called Marriott and booked this hotel. This property has undergone a fairly recent reservation. The staff was courteous and responsive. I was amazed by coffee available at the lounge. It was as good as fresh coffee at a Starbucks store. The room was clean and quiet. A great stay after a bad experience. The property had the feel of a much higher priced hotel.

GGuest UserAwful hotel….especially considering they robbed my for $133.10… No carts had to haul stuff to second floor Told front desk upon arrival that I checked in early online to get a good room, he said, I’m lucky I didn’t get an adjacent room…I had brought food that was on ice frozen that I needed to get in hotel freezer or ice cold fridge, it was broke..no knobs for thermometer, broke off…guy sent mechanic up and he offered to replace ( probably with more junk) I told him it was 11pm, and didn’t want to lose more sleep waiting and would take it up with corporate….had a cooler and packed with ice but everything thawed by morning… Bed mattress old pillow top, lumpy and horribleness spongy , worn out..leaned to right side…Finally fell asleep by 12, up at 2pm..mattress and smell in room bad musty and old dirt…got up to pee, bathroom floor was sticky…my feet started getting hot when I got back to bed… Unbelievable, no hot water next morning at 7am… Bad old musty smell through hotel including elevator No carts Breakfast awful…sausage greasy…turkey sausage hard as a rock. Old from past days, should have been through in trash…coffee bitter and upset my stomach…told front desk upon check out, was told to call manager Monday when he’s available…I will write reviews on this hotel until they are exposed for exactly what they are…
