We recently had a 300+ indian-american wedding with 3 events across two days. The team at Marriott Burr Ridge was amazing to work with. From drafting the contract, to accomodating our outside caterers, custom bar packages, decor needs, and day of execution, they were nothing shy of perfection. Faby, Lisa, and Michelle were amazing to work with coordinated with our planner and vendors to execute our vision. They were prompt at responding to our emails and needs and made sure every detail was addressed as requested. Highly recommend this venue and team for a wedding or pre wedding festivities

We stayed here for a couple of nights, while meeting up with an old acquaintance; and enjoyed the experience. Our check-in was efficient and welcoming; and we especially appreciated Allison's efforts at accommodating our needs and presenting an upgrade option the first front-desk person had missed. The facility is clean and well-maintained; and our room was comfortable and spacious, providing a wonderful retreat during our stay. The complimentary breakfasts were very good, offering a number of options from which to choose. The staff kept the dining and food areas clean and well-stocked. The day long coffee service was a nice addendum. If one is seeking quality lodging while in the area, this location is a solid choice.

I have never been treated so horribly at a hotel in my life. The manager is gruff and very rude. To begin with I spend 5 months a year in Choice Hotels (150 nights a year) and am a loyal Diamond member of Choice Hotels. I have two degrees, a certificate in electronics and am very successful. I also do not drink, do not smoke, no drugs, no caffeine, no coffee and am very stable. I am dumbfounded by the way I was treated. The morning after my stay I walked to my car to load my luggage and there was broken up construction material all over my car. I looked above and see a worker doing demolition work on the second floor and throwing material all over my car. There was never any rope or signs or anything to let me know I should not have parked there the night before or that there would be demolition work taking place. I asked to speak with the owner as well as the manager as the manager is very rude and I do not trust him. After waiting a long time for the manager and owner to arrive, they looked at the mess, debris and scratches/damage to my car. It was very obvious that the debris had caused scratches on my car. The owner said something that floored me. He said that the debris and garbage on my car could not have caused the damage because The debris was heavy and so it would have caused deeper scratches. It was a very ignorant and dishonest comment. They did not even have the courtesy to offer to give me money for a car wash let alone offer to repair the damage. I consider myself very tolerant about spotty conditions as I spend so much times in so many hotels. But this place is among the very worst. The breakfast is a joke. It seems like everyone who stays here is a smoker and the smoke from all these smokers comes into your room. Do yourself a favor and do not stay at this place. Ron

This red top is still relatively clean, the price/performance ratio can choose such a hotel to prepare breakfast, it can only be a cup of coffee. There is a supermarket store nearby.

The location of this hotel was perfect for our ”why” we were there. I wish I could say the same about the hotel itself. The customer service was pleasant. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom was way too small, and the shower curtain was too short for the bathtub shower. The hotel is huge, and the hallways were taken care of, however, the stairs we took were never taken care the 4 days we were there. There was no ice machine on the floor and when we did find the ice machine it was broken down. They have a big pool area, and it was not in use and there were no places outside for a family to sit and enjoy time outside. This could an amazing place for what it looks like it wants to be a facility for weddings or large meetings you need to up your game. It's the little things that could make a big impression. No maintenance on site? As a request for the light on the mirror was out and the sink didn't drain.
