Came here for a wedding. It is a short drive from BWI to the resort and a little bit up the road from Camp David, which is nice. The room was very affordable, and ditto with the drinks and late night menu at the bar. The room itself was okay. The bed was a little cramped for two people, the coffee maker needed to be descaled and the wallpaper needed a refresh. I didn't play any golf, but the course looked well maintained. The outdoor pool was not open at the time, but it looked like it would be fun. Didn't use the spa, but the menu included all of the usual treatments and the prices were reasonable. There might be fancier resorts around, but this one punches above it's weight in terms of getting what you pay for.

I stayed here from July the 9th to July 18th. I took a Redeye Flight from the West Coast to Columbia. I was exhausted by the time I arrived around 8am the next morning. I was really hoping for an early check-in but was told that was not possible, so I slept on the Grassy Knoll nearby for four hours, just enough time to get sunburn to my Head. When my brother and I went in, I got a Tea and my brother coffee. We sat in the armchairs in the lobby until we were told we could no longer stay there. Even though, I booked two rooms for nine nights. When we finally got around to checking in, we found there was no room service. No Bathroom cleaning or anything like that. . I had to bring my sheets and towels and blankets down every few days. to have them replaced. My sister-in-law cut her foot and used a short towel to clean it. For that, they charged me $53 which I only found out later. Since when does a small towel cost $53? Then on that last day, I booked a room in their sister hotel for my sister-in-law. I wanted to cancel this reservation and after 20 to 25mins on the phone in the Lobby they were unable to get through. They said, don't worry your credit card will not be charged but it was charged the very next day. Their breakfast is nothing! just some Tea and Coffee and some Muesli. No Fruit or Hot Stuff!. The first day they could not provide me with a coffee maker and said they were out of coffee makers, so I gave up also on the Toaster. No, I will not be recommending this hotel to any of my clients at ”The Pearl Spa” or Capgemini Engineerinng.

The hotel is always pretty clean. However I think they should renovate immediately. Another plus is they have food for sale in the lobby. Prices are always reasonable. Some rooms have microwave and mini fridge others don't have either. Smoking room I had,had cigarette burns all over the room including the bathroom.

It was a nice stay. Showed up late at night and they checked me in. Key did not work, so they gave me another room, but it no big deal.

For the most part my stays are usually pretty decent...my last 2 stays NOT so...my last stay 4/2-4/3 was NOT good at all...very uncomfortable.alot of grit and throughout the floor BUT MOST NOTABLY I spent most of the evening chasing roaches of all sizes...I informed the am customer service personel.she informed me that a possible refund may happen and she would inform management BUT there has yet to be any kind of a ton taken to date? At least NONE that I am aware of? Also my Stay 3/21-3/23.The wknd prior my I had key issues which resulted in the switching of my room at the last minute.the room was NOT entirely Sanitary.i ended up purchasing cleaning supplies of my own so that I may be comfortable.the shower was partially disabled and the heating unit wasn't functioning properly.

Stayed at hotel in town for wedding of family friend. I was very impressed with this location. some pros and cons: Pros: lovely clean hotel friendly staff rooms spacious and cleaned daily-both refrigerator and microwave present large very comfortable king sized bed large work mobile station large walk-in shower stall- which included safety grab bar- branded toiletries -provided Dove-- Outside provided lovely seating area for one to enjoy meals or simple relax and of course having a complimentary breakfast provided was nice location was convenient to some nice restaurants Cons: no in room safe no exhaust fan/vent in bathroom rooms indicated as non-smoking however for first two night the heavy smell of ********* was present in hallway--management unable to address
