McWilliam Park Hotel

We stayed in Room 15 last weekend and all I can say that I am personally impressed on how efficient and accommodating your staffs are. Restaurant staff are very helpful and friendly, specially Liam and a female staff who serves our tea and scone the morning of May 6. During our breakfast, staffs are quite helpful and making sure that we’re okay. We are impressed. The only issue I think is about the room that was given to us. I thought that it has a bath and has a fridge to put my kids perishables. Overall, we are happy on our stay.

Friendly, helpful welcome at reception. Quiet, comfortable room. Very good food with quick service. Always good to be part of a busy bar, but it was not too hectic. Breakfast was quiet and enjoyable. Had some difficulty finding location....roundabouts ..etc.... More prominent signage would be welcome !

I went for a meal here last weekend. From start to finish everything was amazing. The chowder was a generous portion, and the steak burger was delicious. Special shoutout to our server Lara, she was extremely friendly, nothing was too much of an ask, and even made us laugh with a good joke or two. Overall great venue, great cocktail menu. Will definitely be back.

Lovely relaxing evening. We enjoyed the food, wine, dessert and a great suggestion from our server of a smooth whiskey.

Had a quick stop off on way to Knock airport. Excellent hotel with fantastic staff. Special thanks to Garry the night manager who went out of his way to sort out some access issues for me. Great customer service experience. great breakfast too. Thank you

5 We stayed since start of 2024 through til mid April on a work project. Many staff were exemplary, so pleasant to such a point I regarded them as friends. ‘Grace’ on reception desk was clearly an outstanding employee. She always greeted our return from work in the evening to such a point we looked forward to arriving - we had such a crack. Other names that stood out over & above the norm are: ( I may not get the names fully correct but they will know who they are ) Mellor & Melisa - what a crack, Niall, Connor, Sasha, Jack (2 of), Marie & Tatiana. Not forgetting the morning reception lass that turned Clairmorris upside down trying to get me a taxi one morning. That’s exactly what’s needed to demonstrate staff dedication to hospitality - top show from all of the above. Go on Grace 👍🏻👍🏻

I come to claremorris every weekend from my work in Dublin. I visit the McWilliam park hotel with friends ongoing and came across a fantastic barman Gary. Pulls the best pint in Ireland and is one one of the soundest men in the west of Ireland. I must add that Jamie and Mella are absolutely top tier professionals too and couldn’t recommend them higher. By far my favourite spot for a pint. Well done to all

Disappointing Experience: Poor Service I am writing to express my extreme disappoin**ent with the service I received during my visit to your restaurant last night.Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of my expectations. First and foremost, the service was unacceptably slow. Despite arriving at a relatively quiet time, I waited for over 28 minutes to order something to drink, and ordering my food. I called the waiters, the were passing by they ignored us for the first two attempt. The third time i had the real shout to get their attention, all i could receive as response, is WAIT. Likely the manage was so good he came to take our food order. We waiting for another 26 minutes for my food & drinks to arrive. This extended wait time significantly detracted from my dining experience and left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. Furthermore, the staff appeared disorganized and inattentive. It was challenging to get their attention, and when I did, they seemed indifferent to my concerns. The lack of communication and responsiveness only added to my frustration. I sincerely hope that you will take this feedback seriously and address the issues with your service. Improving communication, efficiency, and attentiveness among your staff members would undoubtedly enhance the overall dining experience for your customers. I went for dinner with my husband on Sunday. The dinner was top tier, our server Mella made our experience even better. She was so attentive to us from the moment we sat down until we left. She made our night. Highly recommend to everyone, very happy customers!
