mould in bathrooms, bathroom had no locks, food was undercooked, really cold or scolding hot water, dust filled beds, dirty floors, cracked stair tiles, but overall brilliant skiing and great skiing instructors(which I learnt loads from)

Just returned from a school ski trip with my teachers and friends . Positive points - fulvia and other hotel members are lovely . Skiing is brilliant Negatives - unhygienic , dog walking around food that was left out in kitchen . Rooms - mould and smelly . Stains on sheets and rips in bed sheets . Hot tap not working in my room . Lights not working . Food is awful . Quite a few of us got sick . Doors don’t close properly and no locks Would return for the skiing but would definitely not stay here again

I have just returned from a week of skiing in Claviere, Italy, with 70 children and eight other staff members on a school ski trip. Throughout our stay, Fulvia and the rest of the staff made us so welcome. The food was perfect for the children to have the energy for a day of skiing and then to refuel in the evening. The housecleaning team cleaned and tidied every room, every day; something I had not experienced before in 15+ years of running school ski trips. The lounge area was perfect for nightly meetings to discuss the highlights of each day's skiing and to host games evenings where we played board games, rather than sit on devices all evening. Located at the end of a short street, we felt it was safe to allow the children to play in the snow without strangers wandering past all of the time.

Mould in bathrooms, broken shower door, tiles broken, one bathroom leaked and flooded bathroom every day, blood stains on sheets, dust and cobwebs, one bedroom smelt like rotten sprouts, dirty tablecloths, napkins not even renewed unless we asked ! Same dirty ones at the breakfast table etc from previous meals!! Food very questionable and ate out most days. Boot room a real so scruffy and wonky unpainted shelves. Group of 7 of us stayed for a week - very experienced skiers/holiday makers and between us having been on hundreds of ski holidays - this was 100% THE WORST hotel we’ve ever stayed at. Our advise - DO NOT GO - not even cheap (wouldn’t stay here for free!)

Upon our arrival we discovered there had been to say the least a hiccup with our reservation through ***********. The hotel was closed for the Christmas break. After telephone conversations with Fulvia, the hotelier and *********** our reservation was honoured. When Fulvia realised the situation she came straight to the hotel and opened up the hotel for us, we were the only four guest for 4 nights of our 7 night stay. Fulvia and the staff made our holiday experience very welcoming, Fulvia is full of heart and care, 5 star hotels are great but to be cared for by Fulvia was second to none. The food was traditional Italian food and of good quality. Our shower head was faulty and it was replaced when we reported it. Ski and boot room is sufficient for its purpose. The location is extremely convenient for the chairlifts, ski hire and ski school.

We came to Claviere on our 2021 Christmas ski trip with family and friends, 19 of us in total with children from 5 years to 16. Hotel Miramonti might not offer high spec accommodation but it does have friendly staff who are more than happy to help with whatever you may need. Fulvia the owner went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. She helped with ski advice, covid restrictions, places to go, etc. etc. Rooms are basic but clean, quiet and there's great views from the windows/balcony. The food is good traditional Italian served in separate courses (about 5 courses in total) and there was definitely plenty and something for everyone. There is a bar open pretty much whenever you need it and the price is really reasonable (14-15 euros for a great bottle of wine). So much cheaper than France, we saved a fortune on alcohol. It's not ski in/ski out so I would definitely recommend hiring a locker for your boots/equipment. Overall I would definitely recommend this lovely Italian family run hotel as it's great value for money.

Siamo stati in questo hotel per un week end lungo sulla neve: ci siamo sentiti molto coccolati e abbiamo trovato ottimo il servizio ristorante e la colazione. Vicino alle piste da sci e gestori pronti a consigliare.. Grazie mille e pronti a tornare in questo bel paesino
