Comfortable room, efficient staff at reception.

Lovely stay room lovely lots of space.nothing to much carol you are one in million nothing to much always lovely to talk to geat with my daughter always have time to talk . The room are big and clean lots of space to move round and beening near main road to could not hear it at all room very warm to warm for me but lovely .my daughter loved it to help my dad get I good chair as he sleeps in I chair alot of the time carol you are great member of staff keep up the great work.

Great location, brilliant staff, always smiling, polite and happy to help. Very clean and well priced. Great value for money and it's in the Lakes! Spacious, free car park. Brewers fayre restaurant nextdoor, ASDA on the other side of roundabout.

This was my first time staying in this Premier Inn. Booked via work for 2 nights. The staff on the check in were very helpful and pleasant. Room, bedding and bathroom was spotless. Lots to choose from at Breakfast and staff ask you enter very chatty and kind.

We stayed as a couple for just one night while exploring the Lakes a little. Excellent room, looked as though it had been recently done up. Friendly staff and some good tips on the local area from Chris on the night shift. Had our evening meal and breakfast at the attached Brewers Fayre and thoroughly enjoyed both meals.

As always you know what to expect from a Premier Inn. Had a meal when we arrived about 1.30pm and ascwe were on a meal deal thecstaff allowed us to eat early before checking in. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My only complaint was the restraunt closed for orders at 8.00pm when the bar was busting with people who wanted serving. This was the weekend of the Malcolm Wilson Rally and all the rooms were booked.

This relates to Breakfast at the Brewers Fare. Walked in for a breakfast, as I have done at many Premier Inns in the North. Paid cash. The lady said, just to let you know there is no bacon today. Er OK then, Im sure we will be fine. Got a table. It was pandemonium to say the least. No hash browns, no mushrooms, no bacon, no black pudding, no fresh orange juice, and no coffee. When people asked the staff, we were told, sorry we have run out. The cereal space was empty. So , Sausages, and eggs, and beans. Having said, we got the last sausage, and the people behind us of which there were 8, were told, No sausages sorry, we have run out. Coffee machine shown faulty. Eventually , it was like the staff had had enough, they appeared to disappear. (Not their fault, I felt sorry for them, where was the management, when I wanted my money back. No one about. We left when things got heated between a member of staff and a customer who was complaining.

Reception staff miserable and informed us we would have to make our own bed in the family room. Children's meal portion sizes are terrible. Like 1 piece of garlic bread, undercooked pizza, tiny portions, and the MOST tinniest corn on the cob I have ever seen....think 3 rows of corn on a slither of a cob! Not promoting healthy eating, veggies, etc with these sizes. The bar manager was amazing!!!! Thankfully for us, she made our visit and customer experience so much better.

stayed recently to visit the lakes, enjoyed my time here and a look into Cockermouth for some food, a lady working there called carol gave us some recommendations and Couldn't thank her enough, will use this hotel again for sure, lovely area
