Balneario de Cofrentes

Decided on this hotel as a base for exploring the area. The hotel is generally very old although kept spotlessly clean. The room had great Aircon which was a bonus It is set well away from anywhere so you really need a car to get around. There is a fabulous river trip and the hotel runs a train down to the river avoiding taking the car. The average age of guests has to be 70 and many seem to be there for the thermal spa and trea**ents . The resort is very focussed on elderly and less fit people. There was a wide range of activities suitable to a senior ace group. There were a couple of children there but I would say that it is definitely not a place for youngsters The outside pool was excellent and with the extremely hot temperatures very welcome I would advise media pensión as apart from a good castle there is virtually nothing in Cofrentes and it's a long way to other villages. We are English but Spanish residents. Our Spanish is not great but we can get by. This is a very Spanish area and resort and we did not come across any other nationalities apart from Spanish which is exactly what we want. Be warned little English is spoken or understood and you can feel a bit isolated. If you like being outdoors, walking and amazing scenery this is a great place to go.

My wife enjoyed ourselves immensely at this hotel / spa the choice of food’s was extremely good at all the sittings - breakfast- lunch - dinner at both lunch and dinner there was wine on the tables , but do remember this hotel / spa caters mainly for the Spanish although both my wife and I speak little to no Spanish we were made to feel welcome . If you enjoy a holiday hotel with spa trea**ents sent deep in the Spanish countryside then this is a must but do remember it’s not a 5 star resort it’s a very good 3 star hotel and spa , if you are looking for authentic Spanish then this is a must .

Onbehalf of physically disabled,this,place was as good as it gets.The location was great . Thasiteis made up ofplocks of apar**ents all wheelchairfriendly,and the block H 756 was the best we have had so far ,so spacious the w5hee. Chair was able to easily go round the room into toilet etc.thebeds were comfortable. A small accssable balcony for a quiet sit and read etc outside wonderfull. The staff were superb, the buffet meals were excellent with numerous choices of food. The spar was available with prior booking. A mini golf course close at hand and a proper course nearby. The restaurant was open all day until midnight. Our stay was brilliant. Boat trips are available subject to prior booking. Look on the website to learn how to book events etc.

¡Menos mal q arriesgué a ir sin tener en cuenta los comentarios negativos! Es un balneario 10 y conozco unos cuantos. Organización INCREIBLE, instalaciones MUY BUENAS, restauración ACEPTABLE ya q hay gran surtido y es difícil q no haya algo q te guste, personal TODOS absolutamente TODOS más de un 10. No se lo piensen y si tienen oportunidad visitenlo, el entorno es precioso y muy entretenido, ademas, super bien señalizado para realizar paseos o rutas. Todos los días hay animacion q te puede gustar más o menos. Ah lo normal es q tengas el coche en la puerta, comodísimo.

Muy buen balneario , repleto de actividades con un buen bufett y entorno agradable Hay actividades de todo tipo y además puntero en el tratamiento de la artrosis Infinidad de rutas para hacer senderismo la habitación en un apartamento con el coche delante

Es la primera vez que realizó una estancia larga en un balneario y me sorprendió por lo agradable de la situación, para repetir, muy bien coordinados los circuitos termales, equipo de animación que hace amena la estancia a cualquier hora del día y buffet bastante completo, habitaciones esparcidas que impiden la molestia entre hospedados.

Un lugar para disfrutar en plena naturaleza y obtener los mejores resultados en los baños termales,con senderos muy bonitos y distintas actividades programadas,el buffet es variado y abundante ,tanto en el desayuno,comida y cena , El equipo de animación estupendo

La habitación nos costó encontrarla ya que está en medio de la montaña, antigua pero con todos los servicios. El spa muy bien, lo único que tienes que salir fuera para ir a la habitación, íbamos mojados con el albornoz y hacia frío. El desayuno muy bueno. Con mejor tiempo volveremos.

Las fotos no corresponden con la realidad. Las instalaciones están bastante desmejoradas. Es más un hogar del jubilado que un balneario. De balneario sólo tiene el hervidero que se conserva. El circuito termal también muy envejecido, todo poco cuidado Las paredes con moho y el circuito es bastante basico son 45min lo enchufan y luego se apaga. No se si fuera más barato te parece bien, puedes descansar pero necesita mejoras como la comida que es buffet libre pero mala calidad. El personal es muy agradable y la gente también repetiría pero pagando menos y con algunas renovaciones.
