A Fantastic welcome, warm hospitality and great breakfasts. We enjoyed a relaxing 2 night stay at the lodge. A proper 'log-built' building built and finished to a very high standard. The room and facilities we had were clean and to a high standard. There was a great patio area to sit out on and enjoy a drink or two, together with a welcoming lounge area to relax in the cool when it became too hot outside.

Perfect and modern cabin. Well appointed, spacious, relaxing, located in a very quiet area and only 15 minutes from Golden. Beautiful view of the mountains. The kitchen was well stocked with all the tools you need. Enough outlets for all your electronic devices. Beds were comfy. The sofa and chairs were relaxing and we took advantage of the fireplace! Had only one issue: the bedroom is upstairs while the bath is downstairs on the first level. Both my wife and I during our stay missed the last step once during the night. Since coming home and writing this we do not have a good suggestion to the owner on how to solve this issue. Maybe a nightlight: we kept the bathroom light on all night so that would not help. If anyone has trouble with steps they may want to reconsider the cabin. But if you are looking for a place to stay in Golden to explore British Columbia this is the place!

We stayed in the Kicking Horse cabin which was spacious and equipped with a full kitchen. The cabin was spacious, clean and quiet. The owners, Johnathan and Lucille were wonderful hosts. It is a perfect location for exploring Yoho and Glacier National parks.

Wow what an amazing place. My husband and I went there for the night before our 25th wedding anniversary on a trip from UK. Waking up on our anniversary surrounded by so much greenery and a mountain view made it so special. The Lodge is beautifully decorated. We sat on our balcony in the evening with a bottle of wine, perfect. Thank you Moberly Lodge, we will be back!

Wonderful, cozy cabin with all the amenities you need. Well-stocked kitchen, comfy sofa and chairs in the living room, nice view as you dine in, or use the outside picnic table. The upstairs is great for sleeping with cathedral ceilings and the perfect mattress, not too hard but not too soft. The owners were most helpful with information about local parks and activities.

We previously stayed a cabin at Moberly but wanted to stay in the lodge on our next visit from Australia. We had a queen room and our son stayed in a twin room. Both rooms very very comfortable and we loved the Great Room where the view to the mountains is fantastic. The breakfasts were great, takeaway on the first morning as we left early to go to see Boo at the Grizzly Bear refuge for a ranger guided tour then we had superb waffles the following day. Already thinking of another stay!

We fell in love with Moberly Lodge! It's the kind of retreat that makes you wish you had booked more nights. The included home-cooked breakfast is delicious!! The rooms are incredibly cozy, and the beds are supremely comfortable. And Lucille and Jonathon are wonderful hosts. We loved every aspect of our stay. The living room area is the perfect spot to unwind. Whether you want to dive into one of the many books available, enjoy a fun game, or simply relax on the sofa in front of the fireplace, this space makes you feel right at home. Moberly Lodge offers a truly exceptional experience that we wholeheartedly recommend.

This is an amazing place run by great people. It was a joy to stay during the quiet time, peace was soul rejuvenating. Away from all the hustle bustle the morning chorus of birds a cup of coffee never tasted better. The friendly service,immaculate rooms,Lucille prepared breakfast to meet our dietary needs. We are definitely looking forward to return visit.

Excellent cottage experience. Quiet, beautiful and amazing layout. The cabins have all the amenities you would need. Just outside of Golden provide quiet, serene experience. Jonathan was amazing to deal with and made sure our experience was excellent. Would recommend to anyone looking to escape and have some peace and quiet.
