La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Columbus North

Overall appearance, good breakfast and nice, large breakfast area were great! The breakfast attendant and housekeeping staff were amazing! Two of the front desk people, (heavy, white man at night & a white, brown haired female during the day) were cold and unfriendly though. If the two front desk people were nicer, I would give 5 stars. On checkout, there was an older, black woman with longer hair who was very friendly and nice! Would definitely go back and highly recommend.

The room had a smell. The check in was smooth the staff was pleasant. The hotel is in a good location.

The location was great and convenient. The staff was incredible. They were helpful and answered all our questions and more. Everyone greeted us and the front desk person was incredible, without asking she provided extra bedding for the roll out without asking. We didn't have to ask for anything they were prepared for everything

Rooms are large and clean. Bed is lumpy in room 231. The tub faucet has a consistent leak. TV offers only one channel (I called office about it. They said this problem was experienced in some of the rooms but not all). Lastly, if check out is 11 am, why is housekeeping knocking on doors starting at 10 am?

Maintenance of interior facilities was very poor. Base molding in our room was peeling in at least two areas, and revealed black mold behind it. Shower wall had 3’ crack, the tub floor slipped in and down, ceiling paint around BR vent was chipping, mattress was sloped towards wall (frame either bent or broken). Left us with unclean and filthy room. I was so disappointed.

Good stay. I was very glad to see the hot breakfast had returned. Friendly, responsive staff. I was there three days and had only small issues which were quickly resolved.

It was good overall but I can be hard on cleanliness I found one paper under the side cupboard.

Had a great stay here! Property looks like it was renovated recently and lobby was very inviting. Hotel front desk staff was very nice as well. There was an issue with our TV but woman at the front desk was able to help very quickly. Wasn’t a bad price compared to the other hotels in the area.
