Hotel les Beaux Arts

Enchanting, refreshing, beautiful, inspiring laid back elegance. This is how I would describe the atmosphere of this hotel almost completely finished after a total renovation. I was allocated in a room on the top floor, penthouse style with a charming view over the rooftops. Everything brand new and super comfortable bed, duvee and mattress. Parking space at the hotel very handy. breakfast supleme with everything one could wish for including a good choice of vegetarian and vegan food. Close to the city center, shops and pedestrian area. There was a market on the main square when I visited. Looking forward to visiting again

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel and clean and well located but needs some updating.

Never before in a hotel have I changed rooms and then decided to check out early and move to another hotel. The rooms are very tired. The carpets have stains. The beds are rock hard. The tea and coffee provided is the absolute minimum. Things are broken - in the second room I had one window did not shut (cold!) , a bedside lamp was broken, the fridge was not properly cold and the temperature control button in the fridge was not properly connected. The stairs were also a problem. The lighting on the 5th and 4th floors was broken. Downstairs in the dark is not safe. One flickering light meant it felt like a scene from The Shining. On arrival there were no reception staff so everything was very strange. And the car parking is really difficult. Breakfast also terrible. And parking and breakfast cost extra. The staff were friendly and tried their best to help but the whole place feels like they just want to take your money and they do not care about making your stay comfortable or welcoming. The worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

We booked this hotel as an overnight stay on our way to Rouen and am I glad it was only one night . This hotel is completely run down . The reception was out of the 70s . Although we had booked well in advance,when we arrived they had us booked in for the next day. Fortunately they said they had a room for us . I’m not surprised they did as I don’t think they are Overbooked ever . The whole hotel is very tiered, from the dark hallways (dark Red walls with dark blue wood work and dark linoleum floors) to the rooms with brown painted walls . The furniture was old and worn wood and the carpet (green) were stained in several places. There was coffee and tea facilities in the room but it was powdered milk so we didn’t bother with that . The bathroom was very small and completely white tiled but as with the room could do with completely being upgraded. The shower only had one pressure and that was fast and hard. If you were showing the toilet also got a good dousing as well. Breakfast (well if you call one pain au chocolate and a bit of bread breakfast) was a disappointment . We asked for more pain au chocolates and croissants but we’re told it was all gone ( it was 8.30 in the morning) . There was eggs if you boiled them yourself. My wife did try but I think she would still be standing there a day later as the egg boiler was ancient . Some of the tables had wood and metal garden chairs to sit on . On leaving they tried to charge us for two days breakfast even though we had only stayed one night . We soon corrected that . I can only say “don’t stay at this hotel “ .

Hotel was Nice, but the room was dirty especially the bathroom, not one I would stay in again. Vloot was sticky, paint was coming off, room was very hot and vitamins where not sufficient to block the light.

Hôtel fraîchement rénové. Les chambres sont claires et suffisamment spacieuses. La sdb petite mais complète et très propre. La literie neuve aussi est excellente. Petit dej continental, pain et viennoiseries très bons. Hôtel très calme et confortable. L'accueil est plus que sympathique. Je recommande vivement cet établissement.

On vient de passer une nuit dans cet hôtel rénové (il y’a encore quelques travaux). L’accueil est chaleureux, le personnel est très sympa. La chambre est rénovée, elle est spacieuse avec des lits confortables. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et très bon et tout est frais. Un parking en souterrain est disponible avec un supplément. L’emplacement est idéal pour se balader au centre ville. Je recommande vivement

L'annonce est mensongère, nous avons eu une chambre non rénovée depuis plus de 10 ans. le robinet de lavabo bougeoit, la chasse d'eau fuyait, papier peint était taché et se décollait à plusieurs endroits, le canapé était fort inconfortable, patère HS dans la salle de bain, Wifi HS, ni plateau de courtoisie ni minibar. Tout ca pour 130 euros la nuit

Heel goede service en heel vriendelijk. Babybedje bezorgen was geen enkel probleem. Spijtig genoeg lag er geen matrasje in! Tv werkte niet maar ook dat hadden ze snel opgelost. Spijtig er geen airco was. Leuke grote kamers. De ijskast werkte ook niet. Handig met de parking onderaan. Goed ontbijt.
