"The room is clean and tidy"

"Found this little gem for a 1 night stay with partner. So glad I booked it! Really nice B&B, felt homely, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was probably one of the best I have ever eaten. Not sure what the negative ‘greasy’ comments are about. Sausages delicious, and accommodated specific orders. Staff were lovely and friendly. Easy check in and check out. Will definitely visit again when we come up north!"

"I'm the worse person when it comes to staying at places away from home especially when u pay good money and trust when they say it's spotless that it actually is.. 9 out of 10 of my experiences have been far from spotless, but I can actually say Shellow lane lodges met all my expectations it was immaculate Credit to the cleaner/cleaners Soon as u walked in u could smell the freshness and the cleanliness of the place I couldn't wait to check out each room, I was like the programme four in a bed ( I did say I'm the worse)🫣 Honestly it was immaculate,Kim n Aggie would've been proud.😄 The ONLY fault we had was with the internet, the router kept stopping n starting and when we did have it just kept reloading and was really choppy. As my husband had to work online while we were there we had to leave a day early because of it. If this could be fixed I would give this place 5 stars I'm already booked in for next year and hoping by then it's sorted as it's vital to his just job he's able to have a good internet connection."
