Breakfast was terrible several days, bad smelling milk. Watery orange juice, watery gravy, mini biscuits hard. Some chicken nuggets very hard couldn’t eat. For a Marriott chain you need to have a better breakfast. Turkey sausage not even done. Our room air conditioner the top where the air comes out a the vents were broken off and dishwasher inside looked like it had been at the beach. The two air conditioners boards needed batteries blinking and you couldn’t see the display. We will be staying for next three months or more for husbands with you need to get the breakfast fixed.

This place is NOT what I expect from a Marriott. It absolutely has not been updated since it was built probably in the 90’s (at least.) The room smelled, there was dirt and a bug on the bed, the carpets were NASTY. The ac barely blew cold and only dropped the temp of the room 1 degree in 3 hours on high. I’m so disappointed and disgusted. I had been traveling all day and just wanted to rest but I couldn’t even turn out the lights for fear of what creepy crawling things could be in the room. I didn’t even get under the covers. The worst part is that I chose this place even though it was $80 more than the Hilton property. Had I not unloaded my things already, and had a drink, I would have left and kept traveling. Marriott needs to inspect this place and look at pulling their franchise. It’s that bad. I will also make a complaint to Marriott direct.

The best customer service I've ever experienced! Jenn went above and beyond! Ear.y check in, fantastic local suggestions, and a surprise birthday bonus in our room when we got back. Hotel is clean and the breakfast staff was incredibly considerate. Would definitely stay here again!

Staff was friendly and helpful from the time we walked throgh the door. We needed to check in a hour early and the rushed to prepare our room. The hotel is very nice, our room was very spacious and clean with unbelievably comfortable beds and a quiet yet effective air conditioner. Breakfast was hot and delicious I have eggs toast and sausage but they also had yogurt, cereal and oatmeal. I had a killer workout in their huge gym complete with full dumbell rack and then had a nice swim in teh was clean pool. I had a really great stay and I highly recommended this hotel, I would definitely stay here again!

They have intermittent internet but didn't tell us at check in. Instead they want us to contact THEIR internet provider and try to resolve "because they've called them and they don't do anything". Hotel manager - Elizabeth Bradely - makes her staff do the dirty work. When we suggested we needed to find another place to stay she sent her staff out to tell us we'd still be charged. And to top if off - not a clean hotel. Bathroom downright nasty. Dirty and clearly housekeeping not on top of things.

We loved our stay here. Everything went well: the beds were comfy, the food was good, the pool was clean. We especially appreciated the breakfast attendant who made sure everything was clean and in stock. This is now the only hotel we will be staying at when traveling through Tennessee.

We enjoyed our stay here. TJ he hotel was modern and the rooms were very clean. The fitness center was decent and had a reasonable number of machines. For the most part, the continental breakfast was really good. They had a good variety of offerings. The one minor thing is that the chocolate milk containers seemed to have turned - they were still well within the “good by” date, and the regular low-fat milk cartons were fine. So this was likely not the hotel’s fault. The room had two double beds and a nice kitchenette. Would definitely stay here again.

After having a terrible experience at another motel when I checked in this was heaven. I had a house fire and wanted to leave the motel I was at. Lilli at the front desk put a rush on my room cleaning so I could check in early. She called as soon as it was ready. The room is really nice, the kitchen has a fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher. There is cookware and dishes. There is a work area, living area and separate bedroom. Every single staff member has been phenomenal with excellent customer service. I met Beth, Dee and Heather the housekeepers who have been so accommodating. Every single person really wants your stay to be great. When I walk my dog past the front desk they always have a treat for her. Any little thing you need they do their best to get it. There is a hot breakfast with the usual fruit, yogurt, waffles, cereal, scrambled eggs, bagels, quiche and various sausages. There is complimentary coffee all day. You can borrow crock pots, blenders, games etc. The pool is clean but not open just yet. There is a small gym and laundry room as well. This really is the place for long stays. I would say the best feature is the outstanding staff. I have been so impressed at how friendly everyone is and they truly want you to have a good experience.

The better of the choices of 3 star hotels in Cookeville. Very friendly staff. Comfortable and clean. Kitchen well stocked in terms of silverware, etc. Pretty standard free hotel breakfast. Starbucks coffee pods in your room.
