Hotel Boutique Patio del Posadero

Loved this hotel!! Jose,Lisa and their staff work hard to make you feel welcome and at home. The hotel is wonderful and restful and the food is expertly prepared and served - all homemade and organic. Of all the places we stayed on our tour of Andalusia, this was our favourite and we’ll be back again for sure.

What a gorgeous stay! Jose was excellent and made us feel at home as soon as we arrived at Patio del Posadero. He helped us with restaurant recommendations and suggestions for which sites to visit in Cordoba, in addition to bringing us the most delicious breakfast and coffee. Our room was beautiful and so peaceful, and I only wish we could have had more time to spend on the terrace with the pool. I'm still thinking about our breakfasts - homemade bread, juices, kefir and local produce and olive oil...I miss that already! We would have spent a week here if we hadn't been on such a tight schedule. Lisa also helped us book a taxi last minute as we rushed on our way to the train station. Thank you to Lisa and Jose for this memorable experience!

An absolutely stunning hotel which fully justified being called a boutique. Thanks to the brilliant staff and beautifully styled surroundings, it was an incredibly calm haven. The breakfast was amazing; rooms lovely and the plunge pool a life saver after a busy day exploring Cordoba. Very walkable and the staff gave excellent recommendations of where to eat. There was an honesty bar, which was really convenient for an afternoon glass of wine by the pool. Would come back in a heartbeat.

This is a beautiful, peaceful spot in an excellent location. Lisa, José and their team are all friendly and welcoming, the food is superb and the room was spotless and comfortable. We loved the communal area with the plunge pool and honesty bar, and the attention to detail.

Everything about our stay was fabulous. Lisa and the rest of her staff went above and beyond throughout. From the initial welcome and check-in, to the three-course breakfasts, everything was beautifully presented, exquisite in every detail and thoroughly explained. No stone was left unturned. The building itself dates from the 15th century and has been so thoughtfully and sympathetically renovated, retaining original walls and features where possible, but incorporating something of an industrial chic about the new works with exposed brick and metal work, steel beams and also managing to install a decent sized plunge pool on the terrace area. This offset by the whole place being full of charming little ornaments, paintings, books and objects of interest but very tastefully done in earth tones that bring a relaxed feeling of calm when you're there. Our room was in what they call 'the heavens' and it was huge by usual hotel standards with a massive and superbly comfortable bed, and without doubt the only decent pillows I've ever been given in a hotel and the bathroom is a good size with a great shower and a proper full size bath. Between Lisa and her husband Jose, they can feel justifiably proud of what is one of the nicest boutique hotels you could ever stay in, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Best stay of my trip in Spain. Everything here was amazing. The food, the staff, the beds, the pillows. Literally everything. Make sure you eat dinner while you stay there - it’s beautifully executed and delicious. The entire staff was happy and seemed to really enjoy their job. To me that speaks volumes about the philosophy and direction of the place. You could really feel that energy and it made for such a lovely vibe. My job at home is very stressful so ambience is extremely important to me. I get like I was in this little oasis of peace. I cannot recommend this place enough through words, you just have to go and experience it yourself!

What a great experience we had at this boutique hotel. Lisa, Jose and all of their staff are warm, engaging and provide exceptional customer service. The breakfast was amazing, as is the tapas and food which can be ordered. The facilities and design of the patio was awesome and Jose and Lisa have carefully thought out everything to ensure that a person’s stay is enjoyable. The location is quiet but central. Would highly recommend this patio as your choice to stay at when visiting Córdoba.

Lisa and Jose converted an old building in a quiet street in Cordoba into a charming small hotel with many stylish and comfortable touches. They communicate very well before the stay and take trouble to make sure that the stay is a very good one. The room was very comfortable and well furnished, with a very good shower room, and a safe. Breakfast was fantastic. The location is really good: to walk to the centre of the historic areas is no more than 10 minutes. It’s a wonderful place.

We loved our stay! There is a unique ambience in the beautifully restored historic house and patio - it’s like an oasis of calm in the middle of the town buzzing with life. We tried the dinner and the breakfast - both were outstanding! Lisa, Jose, and everyone else we met went the extra mile to make sure we feel right at home, which made our stay even more special. Patio Del Posadero is more than a hotel - it is an experience not to be missed!
