Hotel Casa da Nora

This is one of the most wonderful hotels I’ve ever stayed at. It’s so charming! The restaurant is amazing. The service in both the hotel and the restaurant is way above expectations. Our room was perfect and overlooked the river. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We enjoyed 5 nights at this hotel. The owner is very friendly. We had a quiet and comfortable stay. The kids loved the pool. The room was very nice, and we had a lovely dinner at the restaurant. We would definitely come again😊

Found this fantastic place to stop for a night while visiting Fatima and Batalha. Comfortable rooms, quiet location and great staff, what more can you ask for. The hotel also has a great restaurant and the included breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend

I cannot say enough how much we enjoyed our stay here. With two adults and two teenagers, things can get a bit cramped and when we arrived, the gentleman who received us, upon seeing how big our kids are and how difficult it might be for them to comfortably sleep in the loft of the room we'd reserved, offered us at no extra charge a much bigger room with two bedrooms and a lovely balcony overlooking the Rio Lis. I was excited to see whether this hotel lived up to the charming photos online, and I can say with no hesitation it met and far exceeded my already high hopes. Of all the places we stayed in Lisbon and Porto throughout our trip, we all agreed this hotel (and its gorgeous restaurant below) were our favorite.

Beautiful, tastefully decorated rooms with comfortable beds and a good bathroom. The hotel is part of an excellent restaurant that is open 7 days a week. We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights and ate in the restaurant every night. If you have a car, you can visit many sights in the area during the day. And in the evening you can completely relax in Casa da Nora. The price-quality ratio is very good.

Absolutely stunning location and beautiful grounds and gardens. Our room was charming and lovingly decorated. The absolute stand-out was the restaurant. Sensational dinner and packed with locals, so book a table outside, under the walnut tree before other guests take the best seats. Lovely swimming pool.

In april 2022 verbleven wij 5 nachten in Casa da Nora in het dorpje Cortes, met de auto zo'n 10 minuten van het centrum van Leiria. Dit is eerder een restaurant met een aantal kamers. Wij hebben hier elke avond met plezier gegeten. De prijs kwaliteit verhouding van het hotel en ook van het restaurant is heel goed. Wij hadden een kamer aan de kant van het riviertje. Hier hoor je het stromende water en ook kwakende kikkers. Dat vonden wij heel rustgevend. Hou je niet van het geluid van kikkers, vraag dan een kamer aan de andere kant. De kamer was ruim en smaakvol ingericht met comfortabele bedden en een goede badkamer met douche. Vanuit dit hotel hebben wij mooie uitstapjes gemaakt naar het bedevaartsoord Fatima, de prachtige kloosters van Tomar, Batalha en Alcobaça, het veel te toeristische stadje Óbidos, het veel gezelligere kustdorpje São Martinho do Porto en de mooie stad Coimbra. Al dit en nog meer is makkelijk vanuit Casa da Nora te bezoeken. Een paar tips aan de eigenaar: bouw een goede website die uw mooie hotel-restaurant waardig is en geef de menukaart met de suggesties van de chef steeds aan alle gasten en niet alleen aan degenen die Spaans verstaan. Anders geeft het een verkeerd beeld. Optioneel zou je ook aan een kluis en een kleine koelkast op de kamer kunnen denken. Maar het kon ook zonder.

Site enchanteur près de la rivière. Chambre très grande, propre et bien aménagée. Le personnel est très courtois. Stationnement pratique et sécuritaire. Restaurant excellent.
