H10 Costa Adeje Palace

Overall the hotel was very clean, with very helpful staff and some great entertainment. The reason my review is average is because it advertises 5 pools but it is actually 1 large one split in 2, a children’s one which was tiny and around 10cm deep so not good for children that want to play and swim, an adults one and the indoor one in the gym. I am 5’2 and could only touch the floor in the adult one, so it’s not great for families with young children. The all inclusive in the restaurant had different options everyday, but the pool snack bar was the best!!! But you don’t get told you can order from there throughout the day we found this out ourselves a few days in and we used this for lunch instead of the restaurant. The actual restaurant was limited for fussy eaters but very good if you like fish/seafood. Couldn’t complain about breakfast though there were plenty of options. You get to eat at one of the onsite restaurants, the teppanyaki style was no good to us as only fish/seafood options. We ate at the Mediterranean it was lovely, but there were some chef specials on the menu that you had to order 24hrs before which nobody informed us of that was a shame. The restaurant didn’t have its own toilets you were told to use the ones round the pool so it didn’t really feel like a special dining experience. The alcohol options on the all inclusive were very good to be honest, real Malibu was a bonus! But they will not make any cocktails that are not on the menu even if it includes the alcohol that is included on all inclusive. The location of the hotel isn’t great if you like to get out and walk, it is around 30/40minute walk from any bars/restaurants. The gym was standard, limited equipment but enough to make do with what is there. The indoor pool was a bonus on cloudy days. We booked all activities/excursions/golf on our own as through the hotel was more expensive. The evening entertainment was really good, we had some great nights in the hotel. Although it wasn’t advertised very well and the kids disco was at 8.30pm which is quite late… I would probably try another H10 hotel in the future if the location was convenient.

We came here for a family holiday, we have never been to tenerife before. From checking in to checking out it was a wonderful holiday. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Housekeeping came everyday and made beds and changed towels. Every single worker I walked past said hello. Reception team were amazing and helpful, especially with recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. There were enough sun beds for everyone, towels also given on 1st day which you could change for clean ones for 1 euro. Hotel was on the beach and also had adult only pool. You are treated like royalty and everyone waits on you. The restaurants are amazing on site always fully stocked and hot, lots of choice, even the pool bar you can get waiter service and in the evening for drinks so you don't have to queue. Entertainment was fantastic something for everyone. It was a great mixture of ages aswell. I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely return although I would upgrade to a junior suite next time. The hotel is very grand and luxurious. Everything is so near from the beach to shopping malls. Weather was absolutely amazing . I normally holiday in lanzarote but I have totally loved everything about costa adeje, can't wait to return .

Sadly this hotel is not even close to a 4*. General service is pretty poor. Food offering for meals is very boring and they have the same dishes almost every day with the only real effort that was put in was on NYE. Chefs won’t even do a poached egg in the morning as I assume too much effort. Asked for gluten free bread, eventually was brought out a baguette wrapped in plastic that was warmed up but still frozen inside. There was nothing else on offer. All inclusive cocktails have to be off their menu - no chance in just having a margarita or espresso martini for example as this had to be paid for extra! General hotel cleanliness not great with cigarette butts and old fireworks scattered outside our ground floor balcony for days. Glass and confetti still on tiled floor around pool 2 days after NYE event. Felt like they put everything into NYE but the days either side are the bare minimum. Pool bar always had just one staff so always queued. They were strict with closing the snacks when asked for a slice of pizza for our kids at 5:40 (10 mins after the close time with the pizza still sitting there) but they didn’t actually start serving them until half an hour after the official snack bar opening times. On day one we tried making bookings for the other restaurants on site but both fully booked for our whole stay so couldn’t book. A very poorly run hotel with a lack of effort made throughout unfortunately. Won’t be returning.

Avoid at all cost. Scam. "Heated pools" are not heated. Take into consideration when booking the hotel with kids. Instead book Riu Palace, Gran Tecande or Villa Cortez. Don't promote heated pools Adeje Palace, we call it scam. 4 star not worth, 3 at max. Avoid.

Such a disappointing holiday! Been coming to Tenerife every Christmas, it was very clear we were not wanted, ignored, no help poor service . From reception to the bar and pool area! Definitely never do all inclusive, they are not interested had your money ! No smiling staff just grumpy individuals who would rather be somewhere else! Poor service poor food cold not refilled, very much a noisy canteen where You ate for the sake of it, if it wasn’t cold or dried up! Pool bar scolded you if you went to bar but took hours to take an order or infact get any food ! Twin room booked on arrival told they don’t do twin rooms but had written confirmation from tui! 82 year old grandmother promised walk in shower, refused on arrival unless we paid another£1700!! So in all a dreadful holiday!!

Returning to this lovely hotel, we were warmly greeted by the charismatic Dayan and lovely Elisa. Elisa had emailed me prior to arrival, and all was perfect with our booking. The rooftop Privilege rooms are very nice, high quality with all you need for a perfect stay. Beside the awesome 7th Floor Privilege pool and Sky Bar. Truly perfect with amazing views, Privilege service from the charming staff… a great place to enjoy the sun and fabulous views. Breakfast and dinner at La Tasca was very nice with lovely staff. Lorena was just great, Thankyou. The Japanese restaurant is a must too. The spa is excellent and highly recommend Eva for massage. The hotel offers nightly entertainment, and there is an excellent activity programme for all. Location, gardens and views are excellent, well placed between La Caleta and Plaza del Duque shopping centre. Privilege lounge is a nice venue for pre and post dinner drinks. Leon at Privilege desk is most personable and helpful. Andy and co at Concierge are excellent, friendly and smiling. In all, a great 10 night stay. Recommend and we will return. PS. Fully agree with male long trouser rule in evening : a mark of a professional hotel, which many Tenerife hotels also have.
