H10 Costa Adeje Palace

Stayed in half board plan in a Privlege room in this hotel from 2nd Feb until 9th Feb with my husband. When we arrived we checked in at a separate area and were served a glass of cava and shown the privilege lounge where there was a self-service bar with all branded spirits, beers, soft drinks, water and a coffee machine. This was open until midnight. This is a great 4-star hotel. I would advise anyone to book a Privilege room as this means you can book breakfast and dinner in the Las tosca restaurant with table service. Good choice for breakfast and dinner and the food was excellent. We also tried the buffet restaurant which was OK standard food nothing amazing but acceptable. Also privilege means you have an adults only pool area with plenty of choice of beds etc and a very friendly waiter who is constantly bringing drinks and snacks to everyone plus its possible to go to the bar and get whatever drink you want. The whole hotel area is really nice with a great area for families too. There was entertainment every night plus entertainment in the piano bar. I would recommend this hotel as a 4 star hotel but feel the staff upgrade the hotel to 5 stars.

Fabulous hotel, amazing staff. Stayed a week in April 2024, hotel was wonderful - great beaches nearby. Hotel food fantastic.

Very nice hotel with wonderful staff in a very good location. It’s a short walk along the boardwalk to the lovey village of La Caleta which has ready good restaurants. It’s also a short walk in the other direction to Playa de Duques. The hotel has multiple pools including 2 infinity pools that overlook the beach and sea. Nice to relax in the piano bar at the end of the day. Staff are all really helpful and friendly.

I never write reviews, but feel this hotel was worth the effort. From check in to check out our holiday was faultless. We were a family of 6 adults Half board with 3 double rooms . I asked for rooms close to together, which they were. We had rooms on the 2nd floor. They were clean & spacious with plenty of storage space. The bed mattress was a little hard for me so I asked for a bed topper which was fitted quickly & made all the difference. The bathroom was clean with a hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner & shower gel. Even had toothbrushes! The rooms were checked everyday, bed made, bins emptied & fresh towels. The restaurant was good with a good selection of dishes. We always found something to eat & even tried some new foods. Note that men do have to wear long trousers/jeans etc for dinner. We were able to swap dinner for lunch no problem as we do like to venture out to try local restaurants. The pool area is a good size and we never had a problem finding 6 loungers together with the chill out bar serving some lovely cocktails. You do get a free pool towel on arrival. Special shout out to Brian for looking after us at the bar & in the restaurant & to DJ Lady Mac for the bingo & disco tunes. All in all a great holiday. We are already looking to book again for next year!

My Wife and I stayed, Half Board, at the H10 Costa Adeje Palace, Tenerife from Sunday 14th April 2024 through to Sunday 21st April 2024. We had an afternoon flight from Norwich airport which meant we arrived at the Hotel after 10PM, first impressions were good, we booked in at reception, no welcome refreshments, we enquired about an evening meal but were told the restaurant had closed and there was no provision for late arrivals, were advised to go across the road and get a Pizza! We were shown to our room, a ground floor, garden view which had requested, the room was well appointed clean and well presented, surprisingly there was not even a courtesy bottle of water in the empty fridge, we had read the trip advisor reviews regarding the lack of complimentary tea/coffee making facility so had bought a travel kettle and tea bags, luckily the kettle had integral plastic cups and we were able to have a welcome cup of tea, using milk sachets saved from the flight. In the morning we found our way to the main restaurant for breakfast, the staff were welcoming and attentive, the food choices were plentiful and varied. We then explored the hotel which was split over many levels, the gardens were large well maintained and well stocked, the easily found sun loungers and parasols around the pool, to obtain a pool towel we had to go the reception register a payment card, agree a deposit then obtain a token to exchange for a towel, if we required a fresh/laundered towel, then a charge of one euro would be applicable for each towel. After a relaxing first day we returned to our room to change for our evening meal, we tried to view the advertised British Television channels, none were available. Following a pleasant evening meal, we asked at reception about the advertised British TV channels not working, the receptionist stated there was a technical issue which was being worked on. Throughout our stay these advertised channels were not available, we continued to ask and were given various explanations from a fire at the ground satellite dish, parts not available, technicians not attending etc. My wife was advised to go down to see the Manager who was in the Customer Service Office on the lower level. We made our way there and noticed a Manager leaving that area as we were making our way there. Upon entering the office, I asked to speak to the Manager and was informed that he was not in the office and not even sure if he was even in the building. This was not a very good customer service experience. In fact, it was an appalling customer service experience and not one that I have never ever encountered before in all the Hotels that we have stayed in around the World. In the evening, a dress code was applied for men to wear long trousers, this was adhered to however, many women wore shorts and even swimsuits under “beach pool dresses”. Stayed here on a half board basis. On arrival a lovely young man helped with our cases and he was one of not many friendly staff in this hotel. Rooms are very spacious but with us booking with Jet 2 we were on the 1st floor which we classed as the dungeon in which we were advised by reception is where the jet 2 rooms are all located. Once we got used to it, it was fine as it gave good access to the pool area but let’s just say that wasn’t what we expected. Restaurant well where do I start, in all honesty apart from one member of staff Juan Rose the staff I found quite rude. We were told no no no can’t sit there and told to sit elsewhere even though I cannot see what difference it made, on one occasion there was a table set for 5 outside that we ask to sit at as the tables outside for 4 are quite tight at breakfast when you have tea and coffee pots but was advised that this was for families but yet again very rude and we were shooed away, but during the whole of breakfast no one sat there. Gardens and pool area cannot fault this plenty of sunbeds and pools for swimming as also had an indoor pool if preferred and have you access via a gate on to the sea front. Location personally I would class this as remote as apart from a few shops, a supermarket and a couple of restaurants unless you walk along the promenade not slot there but if you are all inclusive and are happy to stay at the hotel is fine. My biggest issue with this hotel is it is card payment only and as an old fashioned type who has always paid by cash and also do this to budget what I am spending found it annoying as it doesn’t give you a choice apart from you can either leave a card against the room which is a total no no for me or the food and drinks you buy are paid with card . So it is vet handy to have the supermarket near by. I have only given this 3 stars as 4 was very good and I not sure with the staffs rudeness I could give it that.

This hotel has lots going for it. It's grand, spacious and has lots of sun beds and loads of room around the pool. It certainly looks the business. But dig a little deeper and all is not as it seems. There are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, not even a kettle. The Aircon is virtually useless meaning a big loud ceiling fan is needed. There's also a dress code for dinner, so beware of that. If you don't have a shirt and long trousers with you, and you've booked half board, you won't be able to have your full money's worth. The staff range from brilliant to awful. I suppose it depends who you get. Particularly at the pool bar, it was very hit and miss. We asked for drinks three times from one particular waiter and we're still waiting on those drinks. He even returned to our table and we asked again. No apology, and still no drinks. We were also left waiting an awful long time for a food order at lunch time. And again, no apology. The WiFi too is intermittent and running a test it came back SLOW. Also, in April, the outdoor pools are freezing cold. I'd expect a heated pool in a prestige hotel. Also extras like safe keys etc hold an additional charge. And late check out is ridiculously expensive- £56 for three hours then £15 an hour. Ouch. I'm being picky but for the price you pay for this hotel this stuff should be standard. As a frequent visitor to Adeje I'm sad to say I wouldn't return to this hotel, as there are better value for money ones closer to the main amenities at Fanabe Beach.

Our room was nice and spacious with a good view of pools and sea. Room 531. Breakfast was lovely, staff great, sunbeds at pool area, near infinity pool, very relaxing. Listened to waves all day. The hotel is immaculate. 10 min stroll to La caleta with nice restaurants and bars. Thanks to all the staff that helped make our holiday enjoyable.
