Newport Bay Inn

Decent short stay.. no parking and had a few broken down vehicles that took up space.. room was updated but bed was cheap

Roaches, wouldnt have minded the little raoch on our bed, one on desk, and walls if it didnt wreak in the room as soon as you open the door bruh. Yall fr gotta fire whoever cleaning for you.

I know everything comes with the price and this inn was not expensive. but the overall feeling was not very good. I had to leave a day earlier than scheduled

Hotel room was pretty big loved it. The only downfall was the beds were smaller than I thought. I booked a room with a queen size bed, but it felt/ looked like it was a full size bed rather than a queen

It was clean and adequately appointed for a budget motel. Everything worked (toilet, sink, lights, TV, etc.). No frills but adequate for a brief stay where all I did was return each night for sleep.

Sink faucet loose and spinning each time you try to use it. Bathtub hot water barely hot, Luke warm at best. Sink hot water Ok. Bed mattress very uncomfortable. Not enough blankets. No coffee available, no cups you could use to heat up water/coffee. Very sp**** amenities.

The only real positive was that it was conveniently located near our destination. I guess the bad smell and the room condition are what will you get when you try to shop for a budget overnight stay. But my wife and I have decided never to low ball again. The room had that cigarette smoke plus perfume smell which is pretty off-putting, the sink was majorly cracked. In two different directions I'm not even sure if it's dripping down underneath. And almost all the furniture is chipped and worn, and the leather chair to sit there is cracked very badly. The air conditioner didn't have a fresh air mode so we kind of just had to suffer through the smell all night with the fan on.

I was in town for a night & wanted to only have a place to sleep. While the bed was comfortable & the parking easy, my neighbors were loud & there was a bug on the counter. The staff was nice. Not bad but not great. Worth the $97.
