HD Beach Resort

Think this was the nicest welcome I've ever received on checking in. The glass of bubbly was a lovely touch. The staff at this hotel are so friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a lovely location right on the seafront. Everywhere was kept very clean. Didn't really notice it was in need of a refurb. Our room was very spacious with a lovely view of the pool and sea. Bed, sheets and pillows were great, best sleep I've ever had on holiday. The black out curtains brilliant. No complaints about our room. A couple of minor issues our kids had with their rooms were dealt with straight the way and again two lovely big rooms. Rooms cleaned everyday to a high standard. We all thought the food was lovely with the best sausages and scrambled eggs for breakfast. Lots of choice and all the food we had was hot apart from the soup which I just microwaved. Really enjoyed the Italian restaurant too, maybe lacked a little in atmosphere if anything. Entertainment very low key which we don't mind. Maybe bingo and a quiz night would have been fun so everyone can join in. Loved the bar on the front especially when there was a singer/musician on. We hired bikes for 6 euros for 4 hours which was a gret price. Overall a very enjoyable stay. Loved Costa teguise. It's a very windy place at times so don't forget your sunbed pegs! Great hotel. Location 10/10 - perfect for us as there were few shops and restaurants within 5 minutes walk and beautiful beach right outside. Quiet but close enough to Teguise centre. Hotel communal areas 10/10 - well maintained and clean with everything you need. Room 9/10 - we had a junior suite and it was a good size. Furniture was damaged (closing for refurb so we knew this) curtains in bedroom didn’t close (we used towel pegs), and mini fridge didn’t work. We didn’t complain as didn’t spoil our enjoyment at all but did report in case the next people did. Pools 10/10 - plenty sunbeds, no sunbed wars. Food 9/10 - very good for all inclusive, lots of variety and mostly hot. Labelling could be better. Staff 11/10 - all staff were friendly and amazing. Special thanks to Costi, Alexandra, Juan Pablo and Gerrado who all made our stay very enjoyable. We can’t wait to come back!

Nice hotel, very friendly staff and a great beach location. Good food and drinks. Nice walk along the coast, lots of bars, restaurants and shops to visit. Appropriately twenty minutes from the airport by taxi or coach. The hotel could do with some refreshments but apparently this will be carried out next winter.

I love the experience there, the room it was very comfortable and the workers very kind too. Without thinking twice I will come back, and this time I will bring with me my family and my friends to visit lanzarote. If you are searching for a good hotel with great location and great food, HD beach and resort is your best choice

We had the most amazing week in Lanzarote and mostly thanks to people working in this hotel. Not only that hotel is so cozy compared to other all inclusive resorts. Views, pools, room, everything was really great. In the evenings also they have nice program and fantastic cocktails. HUGE Thank you to all the staff of the hotel and also those backstage for great food and very clean room (every day) Thank you Maira for taking care of us and Santiago for the best massage in the world, Most amazing instructor and trainer Laszlo and all of you ❤️ Adam, Ozzy, Naomi Daniela, Suri, Fayna, Karolina ... ❤️ best staff ever!!

Second time we’ve visited this hotel, first was eight years ago and it’s still as good. We actually gat a bottle of Prosecco left in our room welcoming us back and it was my hubby’s.birthday dying our stay and he got a card and a bottle of sparkling rose! We are well travelled and, we personally, don’t know where these adverse reviews are coming from. Rooms are clean, towels changed if you leave them in the shower (as notice says to) and food was really good for all- inclusive. Plates and food were hot and great selection. I’m a fussy eater and had no problem getting something to eat. Entertainment was super each night we were here, Motown, acrobats, songs from the movies, disco hits, 80’s night and beforehand they’d bingo, quizzes and karaoke… something for everyone. Staff were friendly, accommodating and helpful. Our air conditioning wasn’t cooling enough, and first thing the next morning had been fixed….well done!! The entertainment staff were great fun…my hubby participated in many of the games etc. Ozzie and Adam are amazing fun and kept the fun/party going both at night and the daytime….great employees! Plenty of restaurants a short walk away if you want a change and plenty of walks, cycle trails etc. We’ll be back again

Read the mixed reviews and after a Turkish 4 star earlier this year for ref. We cannot complain about our break at all. The hotel was clean and had plenty to do. Entertainment staff were great as were all the staff in the hotel. Food was much better than expected. And we had a fantastic Xmas. The staff and guests made it a memorable Christmas for us so thank you x We are looking forward to coming back after the refurb. Well done and thank you.

Honest review… I wouldn’t return. Prices are inflated over Christmas but we definitely overpaid for this place. The rooms are beyond basic, cleaning of the rooms not up to par either. On day 3 floors haven’t even been swept of mopped. Food selection isn’t great either, gala for Christmas day was beautiful! Spread was amazing! Pros: Bed is sooo comfortable Right on the beach Heated pool in spa Shops and beach not far at all Pool bar snacks Cons: Food Drink selection No heated kids pool Bathroom size Balcony size Looking forward to going home!

What an amazing stay! It was my first time booking a holiday for our family and I was most nervous about finding a nice hotel. As it turns out, I needn't have worried because the hotel was perfect in every way! First off, we paid for all inclusive and it was well worth it. The breakfast, lunch and dinner was fantastic. There was so much choice and everything we tried was delicious. The dessert cabinet was a cake lover's dream come true, and the rice pudding was to die for! We also were able to help ourselves during the day at the snack bar which had a small but tasty selection of sandwiches, salads and pastries. In the afternoon they also had hot food there, and the burgers were my son's favourite post-swim snack ☺️ I don't drink, but my husband certainly enjoyed the on tap Amstel! Speaking of swimming, there were 3 pools. We stayed in May and had lovely weather so we were able to try them all out. The kids splash pool was the main attraction for my son, and he spent as much of the holiday as possible in it! There was also a mid-depth pool that we spent a lot of time in and a deeper pool. The mid depth pool was by the kid's splash pool, but the deeper pool was in a different, quieter area so it was better for a more relaxing swim. They were all a lovely temperature in the May sunshine. The hotel facilities were so nice, we almost didn't want to leave but we made time to explore the local area. The hotel is beside a lovely beach with a rocky walkway that leads out into the sea. In the evening you can see crabs all over the rocks! If you walk along the sea front, there are multiple souvenir shops, cafes and bars to visit along the way. You can also find amenities grocery shops and pharmacies within a short walk, and also the Costa Teguise Aquarium is under 10 minutes walk away. Once we were tired out from the day, we had a lovely room to return to. We had a pool and sea view. It was kept perfectly clean by the wonderful housekeeping staff, who even arranged my son's soft toys on the bed which was very sweet! The bathroom was clean and spacious, the beds were comfortable and there was a fridge for storing our water/food. We all slept really well every night. Last of all, I want to mention the wonderful staff who really make the hotel feel like it should be 5 stars! They really can't do enough for you. They were so friendly and welcoming, always ready to help and are a real treasure to the hotel ❤️ Big thank you to the reception staff, dining room staff and especially to Alex who often hosted the mini disco! His energy and animation helped to bring my son out of his shell and join in the dancing, to the point that he insisted that we had to have Chu Chu Ua playing in our room afterwards!!
