Paradisus by Meliá Salinas Lanzarote – All Inclusive – Adults Only

Fantastic hotel with lovely staff and excellent food. Drinks are all branded and very good quality. All the restaurants are very good and we had no issues booking them via the app that we downloaded before we got there. The entertainment in the evening and classes in the day were all very well run and of a very high standard - shout out to Ramon who was always involved in organising and greeting guests. Hotel is in a great location on the beach but also well located to visit other attractions on the island. Pool a bit cold but that’s the time of year we visited. Overall excellent holiday at an excellent hotel.

Sadly the weather was disappointing but the hotel did not disappoint. We spent 2 weeks at this hotel and from the time we were checked in by lovely Mark to the time we left nothing was too much trouble. Staff were always available, friendly and professional to make sure that everything was to your liking. The choices of restaurants & food was excellent and the drinks menu much better than expected, which for someone that doesn't really drink spirits was a bonus and my birthday ran over 2 days as Samira wasn't open on the day. I was very spoilt and loved it. Sunbeds were plentiful all day long & the pool area is lovely but the water cold made worse by not coming out into sunshine. There were fitness classes all day long. The evening entertainment was good but outside and where it was cold they didn't get much of an audience, however the hotel did in the end provide patio heaters to encourage guests to join in. I'm not sure where to start with the restaurants they were all amazing. We are not into buffet food and so only ate there 1 evening and after that used the a la carte restaurants. Even 4 places to get lunch. The food in the buffet was cool but after commenting to staff this got rectified. My only minor criticism was that regularly drinks arrived incorrect in the Ginger bar, not sure if it's inexperienced staff or language barrier. It's hard to pick out favourite staff as they were all so good however I will mention a few Mayur who walked everyday around the pool to check on us, Raquel in the fitness side, such a lovely personality. Tatiana and all of the staff in Samira. The staff in Capella were just such fun and Ursula who darted between Samira and Capella. I cannot forget the staff in La Graciosa where we had lunches and they made my birthday very special and lastly Chloe who I had heard about from friends, such an asset.

Our Stay at Paradisus has been absolutely brilliant! We enjoyed 12 nights in a junior suite with access to the reserve area. The Staff in the reserve area have been exceptional! Jonathan in particular at the reserve pool bar has poured us the most spectacular cocktails and has remembered our ‘day in day out’ order, every time. A great bar man! His ‘Rosini’ (cava and strawberries) are a delight. In fact he is a delight. What a privilege to have him and his team serving us.

A 5* Paradise within Paradisus by Melia Salinas: A Two-Week Oasis of Luxury on Lanzarote Nestled along the pristine golden sand shores of Costa Teguise, Lanzarote. Paradisus by Meliá Salinas offers an unparalleled escape into serenity and sophistication. My partner and I recently indulged in a two-week retreat at this adults-only 5* haven, and suffice it to say, we were utterly enchanted from the moment we stepped foot onto the property. We had arranged our own transfer through the hotel concierge from the UK. At the airport we were pleasantly met by our chauffer who’s car was fully air-conditioned and spotlessly clean. The hotel is approximately a short 10 minute drive from the airport and it was nice to be met at the airport and driven directly to the hotel after a very early start from the UK and a 4 hour flight. Upon arrival at the Paradisus by Melia Salinas, we were greeted by warm and attentive staff whose hospitality knew no bounds. Our bags were collected from the car and delivered directly to our room while we were introduced to Chandni Gutierrez, Mark and Carina and taken to The Reserve seating area and offered a glass of sparkling. The check-in process was seamless and the personalized attention throughout our stay exuded genuine warmth and professionalism. It is very hard to describe the open greening area in the heart of the hotel – it is simply stunning and needs to be seen to be appreciated fully. The accommodation at the Paradisus is nothing short of sublime. We had a Junior suite with stunning sea views and overlooking the fantastic Cesar Manrique swimming pool (one of two good sized pools at the hotel). The room was sophisticated and elegantly appointed with modern amenities and luxurious touches. Walk-in wardrobe, walk-in shower 3 basins, separated toilet and bidet and a massive double bath. The room also boasted a double balcony with spa bath, double patio doors, full working air conditioning, seating and dinning area as well as a super king sized bed. All of which provided a haven of comfort and tranquility. The attention to detail was impeccable and the Service Team who clean the rooms were excellent and professional and always able to ensure the room was cleaned (morning or afternoon depending on our needs) and the fridge was constantly stocked up on a daily basis. One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the culinary experience. With a diverse array of dining options including 4 restaurant experiences and multiple pool bars as well as the 24 hour Ginger Bar. Each meal was a culinary journey that delighted the senses. Our favorite area for lunching was The Reserve Pool bar. The chefs were excellent and prepared the fresh food to order. The experience was made so amazing by the excellent and attentive staffing teams which included Noemi, Delgado, Yovana, Zoubair, Johnathan and Juan. What a fantastic experience. A proper 5* hotel. Regarding accommodation, the bed was very comfy, the minibar always stocked, the sound of the ocean relaxing and the cleanliness of the room never in question. What made this experience so special was without doubt, the Staff. Some of the friendliest and most helpful staff I've ever encountered (and I am well travelled). Special mention goes to Lucia, Guest Service Agent. Lucia made my stay so special and memorable. She went out of her way to ensure my stay exceeded my expectations. I hope her superiors see how valuable she is to the hotel and the Melia brand. Also thanks to Mark on reception who helped me out at various points of my stay, he was very professional, efficient and friendly. Eduardo in Malva Restaurant who ensured my wine glass never reached empty. Mia in La Graciosa Restaurant who was very friendly and professional. It really is an experience in La Graciosa. I had lunch 2 days and the Fried Moreno is addictive, it's that good! I then had Dinner on my last night, and oh my god, what an experience! One of the best meals I have ever had. I loved the enthusiasm and passion of the server; you really could see that they were all so proud of the food they were providing, and rightly so. I only wish I had booked dinner there more than once. I'll just have to go back. The pool is large and there was never a problem getting a sun lounger. I would definitely return. Lovely hotel highly recommend staying here all the food is amazing. Got served a few times by Ahmed and super helpful, always happy + professional! Along with all the other staff they are all happy to help whenever it is needed. Also very clean and tidy. Will likely be back in the near future.

Have just come back from a week here and have to say how good the hotel was . It’s very modern and contemporary feel . Loved the centre piece garden and water feature gives a very calming feel . We paid that bit extra to have access to the reserve which gives you a separate pool area , bar and breakfast area which in my opinion is well worth the extra the sun beds are better the food at the poolside bar is really good and drinks are all branded grey goose vodka to name but one spotlessly clean around the pool and sitting area service in the resurve was very good Although we only had breakfast once in the buffet area we found it cold everything we tried was cold fried eggs hash browns etc as with the night time buffet wasn’t great that was the only thing that let this hotel down for a 5 star the buffet side of things should be better , service was ok in this area though , ginger bar area was good service was good clean friendly service The beach bar with dj is a great place to finish the day when the sunshine’s ( weather was rubbish had one full day of sun in the week obviously not the hotels fault ) lovely view of beach and sea The staff on the reserve desk where fantastic helpful and friendly Our bedroom we found a little small very clean but just felt a bit cluttered with no where for suitcases lovely decor and design but lacks that bit of practicality we would without a doubt go back and stay again .if your looking for a relaxing children free time in a good standard hotel this would be for you . Thank you to all staff we met you made the holiday very easy and stress free which doesn’t happen very often

My first solo holiday and was perfect location. Staff were very attentive and made me feel really comfortable. Lots of little touches like remembering which type of wine I havs at lunch or what drink I have in the evening made it very welcoming. Hotel pool is gorgeous and huge. It was a little cold but lovely once your in. The activities were great, especially the yoga and meditation. Was so nice practicing yoga outside in the breeze under the palm trees. Location of hotel is great, right on the Coast path so you can easily walk all around the coast and was lovely waking up to the sea view every morning. Fantastic relaxing break for one!

Absolutely amazing hotel first class food service and facilities can’t wait to return. We upgraded to a private villa with pool and the experience was simply the best we’ve ever had. Definitely upgrade to the Reserve section of the hotel it’s worth every penny. Simply the best hotel ever.
