Nice and cosy hotel to stay in. However, we arrived quite late and the cafe was closed.

The location is beautiful. The staff were really helpful. Two pubs in the village were both great. The bathroom fixtures were a little dated and walls thin. However, the rooms are very comfortable and have nice views. I would stay again.

The hotel was well equipped, very clean and the staff were helpful and caring. It was in a peaceful and attractive surroundings and very near to public transport. Parking was readily available. The food was excellent

Pleasant hotel that has a lift! The quality of breakfast and dinner is good but the bar is a bit miserable.

Only stayed one night but it was very enjoyable. Breakfast was very good and the staff were delightful. Rooms were very clean and bathroom facilities were good too.

Generally a very nice, comfortable hotel though the ‘Spotted Dick Pudding’ decoration of our bedroom was somewhat bizarre! There were minor annoying faults such as bulbs not working in the bathroom sink mirror, together with the overhead spot, so it was somewhat dim in the bathroom and not suitable for having a proper shave. The wall lights over the dressing table also didn’t work.
The breakfast was good and plentiful and the two dinners we had were excellent.

This was a lovely spot. My only suggestions would be more staff at the front in the evening so the bartender doesn’t have to run back and forth (the wait for your room key can be long) and offer Al a carte breakfast as listed on the board to the left in a snug.
