Alpes Hôtel du Pralong

A disappointing experience. This hotel has a great ski in/ski out location and it's not far away from the center of the village. Spectacular views.  Unfortunately it actually is overrated. It definitely does not deserve 5 stars. Room and bathroom are too small, to the point that you can't have a decent shower, without flooding it all. Staff is courteous but under trained for the expected standard. Lousy food, particularly considering the only option in the menu, offered to the half board guests. In spite of the alpine style, the hotel has a gloomy atmosphere, especially the underground spa and pool. Urgent refurbishment is needed to meet the advertised category. You do not get what you pay for! Last but not least, beware of the obscene prices charged by the on-site ski rental shop.

This hotel has fantastic location, and so much possibility. Unfortunately management is horrible. I had so many issues. They claim to be five star, but the spa is not open all the time. Jacuzzi and spa area shuts down at eight . If you want to massage the prepared to be disappointed because they only do massages after five and it’s just one person. So if you didn’t reserve a massage, forget it. The Jacuzzi is a joke, small. On top of that it was cold on New Year’s . My room had many problems, such as lacking, weatherstripping on the windows, and no covering of vents. Every single order in the lounge or dining room was always mismanaged. The staff were very friendly, unfortunately helpless- obviously getting no help from management. No lighting by the food buffet. They had us change rooms on the last night, but the new room wasn’t ready and they wanted to just have our luggage waiting in the hall. I refused. Because the place was in a good location. I was taking a lot of it with a good heart and sent them already a suggestion email with a huge list. But the last day of them switching our room with no new room to go to, cleaning team takes more then 3hrs to do a room??!? This was inexcusable, took forever , there was fresh powder and I had to deal with this? (keep in mind this is New Year’s in my room was over $1500 ). I wanted to ski , no way was I leaving my important luggage and passport in the lobby with this hotel. It was the last straw. I had no issues with the ski shop. The mountain was awesome.

We have just returned from a great holiday at this hotel. Everything from the location, food, room and service was amazing. The staff were superb. All of them. Best boot room service EVER! We’ve been coming to Courchevel for years and this will always be our hotel of choice now. Well done to each and everyone of you 👏🏼

Nous avons séjourné en famille à l’hôtel Pralong et avons passé un moment exceptionnel. L’établissement est idéalement situé, offrant un accès facile aux pistes et une vue magnifique sur les montagnes. Le personnel est chaleureux, attentionné, et toujours prêt à rendre votre séjour encore plus agréable. Les chambres sont confortables, bien décorées, et parfaitement adaptées pour un séjour en famille. Le restaurant de l’hôtel est également un point fort : les plats sont délicieux et variés, parfaits pour recharger les batteries après une journée de ski. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel pour son emplacement, son ambiance conviviale et la qualité des services proposés. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter !

Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec une attention et une gentillesse qui font toute la différence. Le personnel, d’une disponibilité exemplaire, a su anticiper nos moindres besoins tout en nous faisant sentir comme à la maison. L’hôtel lui-même est un véritable écrin niché dans les montagnes. La décoration allie élégance et confort avec des matériaux authentiques qui rappellent l’esprit chaleureux de la région. Les chambres offrent une vue à couper le souffle sur les sommets enneigés, et le niveau de confort est irréprochable. Mention spéciale pour le spa et ses installations qui invitent à la détente après une journée sur les pistes. Le restaurant, quant à lui, propose une cuisine raffinée mettant à l’honneur les produits locaux, sublimée par un service attentif et personnalisé. Que ce soit pour un séjour en famille, en couple ou entre amis, l’hôtel Pralong est l’adresse parfaite pour se ressourcer dans un cadre luxueux et convivial.
