Vale do Ninho Nature Houses

This is a ten star review. It's rare to experience something beyond exceptional hosting within a beautifully detailed, appointed space. We had everything we needed for comfortably cooking full meals each day. And, we were completely blown away by what we lived during our stay: Vale do Ninho is an invitation into a communal experience - an offering that honors the land and community in which this stunning accommodation is situated. The accommodations themselves could not be more thoughtfully planned, sustainable, and cozy: gorgeous custom pine, cork, and wool run throughout the entire space. The depth of care and commitment that the owners have and continue to invest is remarkably palpable. A bow of deep gratitude to Pedro and Sofia who went way out of their way, every single day, to support our stay and our connection with this precious community. Vale do Ninho is an absolute gem. This is not a destination or experience to be missed.

From the minute we drove up to the Vila my kids asked how long are we staying? they hoped it was for the rest of our vacation in Portugal but unfortunately I had only booked us for 3 nights. We loved our stay in the Cuckoo Vila, we took plenty of walks and did the hike with our 10 and 12 year old that overlooks the village. This small village is beautiful and we can see all the care and work that is being put into maintaining its beauty with old exterior stone buildings being restored with tasteful modern architectural elements. We loved the bread delivery in the morning and the kitchen had all the amenities to cook our meals. The beds were comfortable and the place was nice and spacious with 2 bathrooms which was ideal. The kids also loved playing with the local dogs who became our guides. Definitely our favourite and most memorable place of our 15 days in Portugal.

Amazing place with cozy little cottage. We slept in the middle one with fire place and separated sleeping room with roof top terrace. There are no words to describe moment when morning sun wakes you up through large panorama window. Worth coming back.

We had the most amazing time at Vale do Ninho. Located in one of the Xisto Villages, small architect cottages. The houses surprised by having all the amenities and being so warm inside. The hosts dealt with everything digitally and were always available. Definitely suggest trying the breakfast with local produce. Loved the donkeys as well!

I loved staying at this beautiful house, in close contact with nature. The house is comfortable and VERY well equipped. The pool is nice, the garden is beautiful and full of flowers, fruits and vegetables. An authentic experience in the countryside. I highly recommend it!

Uma experiencia a repetir. Casas lindas em sintonia com a natureza, respeitando a envolvência, com preocupações ambientais usam matérias primas da região. Ainda oferecem serviços em diversas areas como pão fresco, bicicletas, workshops entre outros tudo da região. Super bem localizadas, saímos diretos para um trail de 3h em que podemos usufruir das paisagens, das cascatas e da envolvência natural. Fomos em casal e amigos, ficamos em duas casas das nature Houses, super confortável, privado e tranquilo. obrigada Pedro e bom ano!!

Uma experiência excelente para quem gosta da natureza: instalações com preocupações na sustentabilidade, confortáveis. Belo espaço envolvente. A Aldeias de sao Simao justifica visita, assim como as fragas de São Simão e o passadiço...

Alojamento 5 estrelas! O tempo não estava ótimo mas o alojamento e as paisagens compensaram. É o local ideal para ir em casal, com crianças, com amigos,... Tem imensos sítios para conhecer e o Pedro é super prestável em tudo!

Fomos bem recebidos pelo Pedro e família. As casas têm tudo o que necessitamos. Comforto, espaço agradável. De manhã passa o padeiro a porta. Natureza da propriedade escelente. Animais, jogos, churrasco. Perto de muitos pontos de interesse. Que mais podemos querer? Obrigado, Pedro e Sofia, vamos voltar.
